Hello,

I hope someone can help me (PLEASE). I made a slide show with 300 pics I added text all through out the production when I play the slide show everything works great (text appears fine) but during buring to DVD and watching the encoding process the text at the end of the show is nothing more than a white box on several of the pictures. I went through each and every one of the pics and checked to make sure all the setting are all the same I did find several that had 2 different text when I would click on the text box I fixed this but still no use they still show up as a white box once burned to a dvd. can someone please help I need to have this project done in 5 days!!

just a quick note I am using a background box which is black and the lettering is white

Thanks for giving us some time. We usually get panic posts that the slide show is due tomorrow.
Could be a lot of reasons including how you are making the show. Did you build it in VideoWave or some other function? If in VideoWave, go to tools > options and clear the proxy files. They will be rebuilt with all the new information as you have modified the slide show.
I assume that you have the latest drivers for your video card (if you are using XP) and have the latest version of DirectX 9c. You might also try setting the video card to performance rather than appearance.

Also, did you view it on your computer or on a set top DVD player?

Thank you for the quick reply but shortly after I sent this message I figured it out. What I did was (in case anyone else has this problem) when I applied the text and put a background to it I went back and added a outline (black) and this fixed the problem they all came up on the dvd which played back perfectly on the set top dvd player
