I have been using Videowave 7 and burning my projects to Dvd with Dvd Builder until recently.  Now when I try to burn any project the DVD Builder will not launch properly. I get an error message that says a problem has been detected with DVD Builder and must close - sorry for the inconvenience.  Even if I open the DVD Builder alone I have problems- The program opens, allow me to add new title.  I have tried to repair and even removed and reinstalled VideoWave including downloading updates but I still get same error.  I hate to scrap VideoWave because I like using it and I like the features and I dont want to have to recreate unfinished projects in another video program. What else can I do to fix problem?

9/20/06 ****   I got it to work.  I removed Internet Explorer 7 and restarted computer. Now it seems to work fine.  It must have been a problem with IE7 update installed recently. Cost me two days of work...trying to troubleshoot, But glad I kept reading other posts - found the answer. Thank God I was able to at least save my work, last time system messed up I lost a weeks worth of work and had to start all over. Makes you not want those auto updates.  Thanks ****

I'd suggest trying the easy things first..... check for spyware, defragment your hard drive, and restart your computer.

I defragmented and ckd for spyware - uninstalled and reinstalled videowave 7 but still get error when trying to add video file to DVD builder.  I can add background video/music but not title. Each time I try it says DVD builder encountered a problem and must close.  Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. Removed IE 7...still does not work.
Tried repair with the disc set...did not help.
I just spent days building a vacation video for the first time using videowave and now I cannot get it onto a DVD.

Help :)
