I have been trying to get this to run on XP x64.  It installs but everytime i try to access my dvd drive it just hangs?

What else do you have installed on it that might take control of the drive?  Any other packet writing application such as Nero InCD or Sonic DLA?

Forgot to mention that you could try the fix from V8 that should work here too.
