Media Experience will not open

Installed Creator 9 today

All applications open except digital media experience.

Please advise

Please give us some information.
What happens when you try to start it? Error messages?
System specs, especially video card/chip details.

Think I have it under control now.

One or all below corrected the situation
-Reinstalled Microsoft net framework 1.1 (uninstalled it after original creator 9 install, then read that it is installed with this software)

-Turned on media manager services.

-uninstalled IE7 and went back to IE6

Good to hear you got it working.

I would guess the .NET as the likely culprit, followed by the IE7.

I do not think Media Manager is required for DME.

Media Manager isn't required. I don't even have it installed and everything works fine.
