I purchased a Lacie DVD burner and downloaded FETCH (free trial, since purchased for $25) as well as ffmpegX 0.0.9w (freeware) to translate AVI files to a suitable DVD format.  I managed to make this work except for a couple of problems. Toast lite will only allow 2 video files to be burned.  The files I am downloading are past world cup ski races and are made up of 4 or 5 100+MB files.  Is there a way around this or should I upgrade?  Also wondering if I am being efficient in the whole process?  Seem to be losing a little quality.  This is all seat of the pants for me.  Any help appreciated.  Thanks.
