Pls forgive all if I'm in the wrong forum..Trying to determine which version of Roxio is installed on my computer that I purchased from Dell in July of this year.. When I go to help for info this is what come up Roxio Creator---Dell Edition.....(Roxio RecordNow Audio version 2.0.4) (Roxio RecordNow Copy vers. 2.0.4)
(Roxio RecordNow Data  vers. 2.0.4)....I'm having problems creating Data CD's that can be read on my old computer...Old computer is Windows XP.....New computer has Windows XP Media Center..Can anyone help? Thanks.......

You have the Dell edition of the software.  The programs that you mention are Sonic programs, and most here stick mainly to the Roxio programs.

The real question is, "what specific program" are you using to burning these "data" discs with. It sounds like you may be formatting them with either DLA or Drag-to-Disc (whichever one came with the "Dell Edition" product. If so, use a blank unformatted disc and the RecordNow data app.
