Apple just changed the iPod resolution from 320x240 to 640x480. Any idea if/when Roxio will change their iPod export to create files with the new resolution? Apple already changed Quicktime (of course).

Thanks,

I did; I put in a query to technical support over a week ago now. They haven't answered it. I just wondered if anybody else had heard anything.

Thanks,

I will be honest, the feature requests arent a high priority yet.  Dont worry, we are listening, we just have to get a couple of the kinks worked out first.

I understand. You probably didn't know Apple was going to make that change. (Do they tell anybody anything before they do it? Ha!) It's just that those of us who put movies on our iPods are looking forward to making the resolution higher because it does make a difference on the iPod screen.

For me, it's just a question of which product I use is going to implement the feature first -- Roxio or Intervideo. I'd think it would be Intervideo, since the product I bought for that, iVideoToGo, ONLY converts movies for the iPod. You'd think they'd want it to do it with the new standards. Har har.

I was hoping Roxio would do an update, because it's handier for me to use EMC9 because I use it for other stuff, but I know there are some problems with Windows Vista and IE7 that are causing LOTS of people problems, and I wouldn't be surprised to see those problems take precedence. Especially because converting movies to iPod format is one feature out of many that are more widely used.

(Even if you came back and said, "March. Now stop asking.", I'd have something to look forward to.  :) )

Waiting patiently (or, at least, trying to),
