Hi,
I finally got my downloaded version of Mydvd essentials 8 to save a movie to a disc image file. In the burn project page I tried "burn to disc", but I still got the error message as soon as it started encoding, so I tried "save disc image file", and it worked. My question is: How do I burn the iso image file to dvd? Any help you all could give me would be appreciated! (I'm extremely new at this).

I'm not familiar with MyDVD Essentials but does it come with Disc Copier or Creator Classic? If so, you can use those to burn ISO's to disc. If not, there's some freebies out there to do this such as Image burn and CDBurner XP Pro

Did you go into the HELP menu and do a search on "iso image file".
