I am getting a runtime error r6025 whenever I try making a new mp3 cd.
The first time I try to add a track I get the runtime error and the program crashes. the second time I try the file is added no problem, and the next file I try to add crashes the program.
I am running on an HP machine with
Windows Media Center 2005 XP service PAck 2
AMD 4200+
2 gig memory
ATI PCIE AIW 2006 graphic card
I installed as directed letting emc suggest which old components should be uninstalled
Any suggestions

Is IE7 beta installed? It's not working with EMC yet and many with this same problem have fixed it by uninstalling IE7 beta.

No its not.
As far as I can tell, this is not a Roxio error but an OS error. Might be that a little digging around Google or Microsoft will pay off.
There is a very long thread about this error here.

I am also getting the error. I am running IE6 on XP pro SP2.
Following some debug selections I get this message:
AppName: musicdisccreator9.exe AppVer: 9.0.1.37 ModName: mfc71u.dll
ModVer: 7.10.3077.0 Offset: 00024b84
I submitted a problem report to Sonic, but so far I have been ignored.
It seems to have something to do with the progress bar, at least the crash doesn't happen unless it is open and the progress is greater than 50%. If the progress bar doesn't open or while the progress is less than 50% everything seems to be working.
As far as I can tell mfc71u.dll is the latest version (perhaps thats the problem). The Dr Watson report shows a call to a pure function (a function that isn't implemented)
Don't think this will help, except to let you know you aren't the only one having problems.
Also, the other audio programs also have the same problem (except the Audio CD creator).
