Follow the Microsoft Instructions to uninstall IE 7 beta or RC1. This is not a Roxio problem. I had IE7 and uninstalled it a it rolled back to IE 6. If you cannot do that, you have a problem with your XP operating system. If you chose not to unstall IE 7, you have to live with the problem,
From the IE 7 web site:
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 RC1 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
- Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
- Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 beta or RC1 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove." (If you are running Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview — March 20 or later, it is not necessary to check "Show Updates.")
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Note it will roll back to IE6. Some people have reported success if they uninstalled IE 7, registerd V9 as required and then re-installed IE 7 RC 1..

Can not remove IE 7
Good grief. It sounds more like you need some proper instructions on how to remove IE7, because it sounds like you are having problems doing that. Steve showed you the way, and if it works, do come back and tell us.

John, this program will work with IE7 when IE 7 is final. You have a beta or RC1 release; not a final version unless you are posting from the future.
If you are really unhappy and you bought it directly from Roxio in the last couple of weeks, contact them. If you bought it from a store, donate it to someone who will appreciate it and is not currently using IE7.

Steve = sknis (normally). When you had IE 7 on your computer and went to remove it, did you delete it rather than uninstall it? Do you now have IE 6 operating on your machine? I'm not sure why but EMC requires that IE 6 be on your computer. In Add Remove programs go to the options on the left for Add Remove Windows Components and check IE. It should become available if you can't find it. It should show up. When it does it may be IE 7 which you can then uninstall using the method above.

Your posts are idiotic. This isn't a place for kids to play games. Anymore like the two that you have made, could result in banning by a Roxio moderator.
