Print to Disk Unable to Print to Disk

I am unable to print directly to disk on an Epson R200 printer. I correctly insert and align the disk holder but when I command print the holder backs out and the ink and paper lights on the printer start flashing. Works fine with the resident Epson Print CD. Anyone else experience this??
