Ever since I have upgraded to Toast 7.1, when I try to burn a Video DVD with a menu, none of the text shows up. The Disk Title is missing. Any text describing the video is missing. Any ideas?

I have the same problem, too.
I've discovered that 7.1 has an apparent bug which causes it to lose (or nuke) chapter titles created in iMovie, while retaining the chapter markers.

I'm using the corporate menu "theme" in Toast 7.1, but no theme in iMovie (I'm using an old version of iMovie, version 3.0.3).
After further investigation on this forum and elsewhere, it appears that Toast's ability to import chapter markers, but not chapter titles, from iMovie is a known limitation of the product's design, but technically not a bug.
In a 2005 review of Toast 7, Macintouch described a problem with chapters created in iMovie:

There are a few known bugs which Roxio has acknowledged and is working to fix. The mere presence of chapter markers in an iMovie causes a DVD track with audio, but no video, to be created; the workaround is to remove chapter markers. This is a big disappointment to us, as iDVD's "scene selection" works only for one movie at a time, while Toast should support multiple movies each with their own scene menus. One can tell Toast to generate chapter marks every few minutes, at least.
This bug involving DVD tracks with audio, but no video, appears to have been fixed--at least, I have not encountered the bug in Toast 7.1. I do hope, however, that Roxio will enable future versions of Toast to import both iMovie chapter markers and chapter titles, as iDVD can do.
