My issue has been killing me for a week. Any assist would be greatly appreciated. Tech Spt gives me the IE 7 removal, startup turnoff, etc. advice. I have done it all.
I burned a project to a DVD with MyDVD 8 in EMC 8. The project has the whole gambit of JPG, MP3, and MPEG II and MPEG I files.
However, when I modified an MP3 file to make it shorter in length (with Roxio Sound Editor) and rearanged pictures in one slide show, I have been receiving the errors and can't record the modified project, no matter what I do.
The error message I receive is non specific but mentions videowave (which I did not use during the sessions) and it allows you to debug.
I have had encoding errors in the past but used the hot fix and had no issue. This error occurs before encoding even begins.
Again, the project used to burn, but I updated the two files and it now gives me errors.
I have a MS Windows XP Computer, 1.6 GHz Centrino, 40 GB HD, 784 MB memory. I used MSCONFIG and turned off the startup files. The only thing I did was shorten an MP3 file with the Roxio Sound Editor and changed the position of four or five photos in one slide show.
Thanks!
