I get a black preview pane when I open MyDVD or Videowave components in EMC8. I have reinstalled the program a couple of times and have also updated the software. I am not able to go past the opening screen, the program hangs requiring forced reboot of the computer. Any suggestions?

I knw that you won't believe me but update your video card drivers.  This has worked for many people.  If that doesn't work, please post your computer specifications.
