Hi
I have an iMac running 10.3.9 and an external DVD writer. I have put together my own DVDs from video footage in iMovies, and to save space, I decided to keep the films on DVD and to copy these DVDs when I needed another copy, rather than retaining it on my hard drive. This was fine, and I made some copies, but now every time I try to copy a disk, it gets two-thirds of the way through and I get an error message. "Couldn't complete the last command because there was an I/O error (your disc may be copy-protected) Result Code = -36" Well, I know it's not copy-protected because I made them! Any idea what the problem is?
I/O error

You are posting in an area that is for a PC product. You might try further down the boards and post in the Mac area where someone might be able to help. Not sure what program you're using but maybe try the Toast threads.
