    Record Turn Table Setup

I am new to forum, sorry, I guess I should have continued same topic. Please see my response to your previous one under no audio. Again, thanks for your help.

Conexant AMC is the only choice when I hit record, nothing else is there. I went to Device manager and disable the Conexent and tried again, and there was no selection. If I remove and replace the Roxio device, both Roxio and UBS will show up. This is perplexing, thanks for all the help.

    No Audio

Yes both of those are listed, but USB 2861 is not in the selection, only coxenent. Edited to get post out of the quote.

The drivers are Roxio Video capture USB and USB Device.

I have turntable set up and hear the music from the record. When I follow the directions, it says select LINE but on the left of that is Conexant AMC capture, not Roxio Video Capture USB. Despite this, I tried to record and I get no audio recorded, any suggestions. Windows XP SP3 HP laptop. Thanks in advance. The left and right volume indicators are not moving so I dont know what is the problem.

    Record Turn Table Setup

thank you for your quick reply and the link, it was very helpful and I will try the following and see if it works. I will use the inputs and outputs of the cd player. Phono does not have outputs When the signal leaves the preamp output, it’s basically the same as what a CD player or cassette deck would send, which is why any of those inputs on your receiver will work.

    Record Turn Table Setup

I have a BIC turn table, has red and white cords that plug into amplifier. So, where do I plug the red and white from the computer adapter into the amplifier. There is no in out where the turn table plugs in. Should I use the tape deck in out instead? Can you plug the turn table directly into the computer adapter and not use the amplifier. Thanks for any help.
