  1. I don't have a disc. I downloaded Creator NXT2 from the Roxio website
  2. When I open Roxio Creator NXT 2 and the home screen appears, all options work except these 2. This is particularly troubling because I use VideoWave for work. Can you please help me figure out what is wrong. For what its worth, I just recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 from Windows 8. I hope that is not the issue!??!?!
  3. Thanks guys, changing the display settings (back to 100% Normal) was all I needed to do. Now VideoWave opens just fine. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. A little faith in the power of God also works every time.
  4. I guess I would greatly appreciate it if someone could explain how my current display settings don't meet the minimum requirement to run either NXT or Creator 2012...when they're set at 1920 x 1080? As far as the color quality is concerned...it doesn't go any lower than 16 bit?!?!?
  5. I was told that the "Best way of doing it is to find out what video device you have . It could be a card or a chip on the motherboard. Go to he manufacturer's web site and let it search for your card and drivers with the information you provide. If it i son onboard chip, Microsoft does have updated drives. If the chip is highlyu modified, it will not allow you to update. You will have to go to the computer manufacturer's support web site and see if there are any new drivers from there. Follow the instructions." Dell told me that simply adding an HDMI cable would probably work. It doesn't.
  6. Here is my information: I repeatedly got the same error message as the gentleman above "The Current display settings do not meet the minimum requirements for this application. Please change the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels or higher, and the color quality to 16-bit or higher" every time I tried to open VideoWave on Roxio Creator 2012. So I upgraded to Roxio NXT2 tonight and lo and behold, the same error message pops up. Windows 8 is my operating system btw.
  7. I was hoping for another response/solution since I got nowhere with the last thread I started a few weeks ago.
  8. I get the same exact error message when I attempt to open Video Wave. Really frustrating!!!

Videowave Issue (Pixels And Color Depth)

Thank you, I will try that and yes, it is W8. Can you point me in the right direction as to how I can go about doing that. It used to be Start/Devices/Update on Vista...I think
  10. I just installed Roxio Creator 2012 on brand new my desktop. All other parts work properly with the exception of Videowave. When I open the application for Videowave, a "Change Display Message" appears telling me that my current display settings don't meet the requirement for this application. The message appears: "Please set the screen resolution to 1024 x 768 pixels or higher and the color quality to 16-bit or higher. My color quality is 32 bit and the screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels...and its still not working and sending me the same "Change Display" Message. Can you help me?

Videowave Error "unable To Load Skin"

Update for you Roxio users who get the same obnoxiously, frustratingly galling "Unable to load skin" message. All I had to do was go to Control Panel, hit the often overlooked "Repair" option...after a system shutdown/reboot, the error message was gone! That was easy, for once

Videowave Error "unable To Load Skin"

I installed the MSXML4 service pack, after uninstalling the MSXML3 files. Unfortunately, I'm still having the Error Unable to Load Skin message.
  13. When I start up Roxio 2012, I go to open Videowave and the same error message appears and it reads "Error: Unable to load skin", then the message appears "Videowave has stopped working" can you guys help me?

    Creator 2012 Not Responding...

I opened Roxio from Start/Programs/Roxio like you said and I have rebooted my computer a number of times, to no avail. This time, however, there was a brief period where it seemed to work after the launch process, then froze again, and when I clicked an icon from Roxio's home page, it froze again.
