    Thanks for all the information. I actually am at Corel and James sits a couple of feet away from me. I'll confer with him regarding this issue and I will post back here when we know more. I agree that when a company gets bought out that things can go a little wonky but it's how we handle these issues that leaves the strongest impression. Thank you for your patience in this manner.

    Try looking here: C:\Program Files\Roxio 2012\Face Filter\FFS20_6_Languages_for_Sonic.exe Since I don't know if you have 32b or 64b so it might be: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio 2012\Face Filter\FFS20_6_Languages_for_Sonic.exe" I installed the Creator 2012 Pro and I had a shortcut for the Facefilter on my desktop that had the above path in it. When i click on this shortcut it opens the installation window.
  7. Try TSmuxerGui. It will separate (ie demux) the audio and video streams and place it inside a new container (like .TS) I do this for mkv files so i can use them in Video Studio.

    Whenever I see an issue such as this I have many questions. Wherewas the disc stored? Did you ever use it before? Can you verify there is no damage to the disc (scratches etc)? Has you tried cleaning it? If not, please do so. Did you try coping the contents of the disc to your hard drive? If not, please do so. Did you try it in another DVD Drive? If not, please do so. When did you purchase this product? What’s is your support ticket #? If you purchased it from Roxio, what is your order number? While there are no replacement discs available for you for Roxio Creator 2011, we can certainly look at other options that may be available once we have more information.

    You can buy any number of component to HDMI converters/adapters, you just have to search and pick one to buy: https://www.google.c...%20or%20adapter Be advised this may degrade the quality of the signal as it is already being passed through one device (the game capture box) and putting it through another converter which will switch it from analog to digital may prove to be too much of a quality hit for you. Purchase it from a location that will allow you to easily return it if necessary. Edit: thanks to djskip316i for the video explaining it nicely.
  10. I can toss some cents into this conversation. The Dazzle devices tend to be very proprietary and usually only work with the software provided with them. I have not seen a Dazzle Device capture with Corel's Video Studio Pro x3, x4 or x5 and it supports any DirectShow compliant device. We have seen many posts on the Corel Digital Media forum with the same results. I would suggest you download the capture application that is provided by Pinnacle and capture using that software. Once captured, feel free to edit with your editor of choice.

    Can I Use The Mac Kit With Windows 7?

    The hardware on the VHS to DVD for mac is older. VHS to DVD 3 for PC that was just released has updated hardware. I might suggest you have your friend return the product and place an order for the one required for your system.   13. Now I'm a rookie here with Roxio Game Capture but this is what I see: 1. The device is not hooked up to the computer. So checking all this about his PC software is not related. 2. He has tried a 2nd set of component cables with no change in color quality. 3. He indicates it looks this way on all 3 resolutions (480, 720 and 1080) 4. It was indicated the blurry/lines went away but he is still not getting accurate color on the TV. This to me indicates a video pass through problem with the game cap box. ugr gaming, if you bypass the game cap box and connect your xbox directly back to the TV, does the problem go away?

    Just as an FYI for anyone following, I have requested Ivan bring up this issue again with the product development as I was able to replicate the problem in Video Wave using the downloaded file in this thread. Not to push another product on you but you might want to try out Video Studio Pro x5 In VSPx4 we had similar issues with the 16bit Little Endian Audio. VSPX5 has resolved these issues, I was able to edit the video and play it back multiple times without audio drop out. Btw watching that Video in Media Player I was blown away by the clarity of it.
