Is There Such A Thing As Ntsc Bluray?

Just told me they had problems. Not very helpful I'm afraid. I've tried to track down some sort of specification but I've not found anything helpful. An NTSC Bluray seems like the Unicorn possibly mythical but maybe not. I presume none of the tech experts from Roxio look at these questions! Thank you.

Is There Such A Thing As Ntsc Bluray?

Thank you. Is this something I can change when burning a bluray? I use toast 11 pro. I appreciate your help there seems to be a lot of confusion round this subject most people i know say there is no such thing as Ntsc bluray. Cheers

Is There Such A Thing As Ntsc Bluray?

Hi I am sending a bluray disc of a film to USA and the film festivals have a note of NTSC Bluray. I thought first that Toast 11 Pro creates a region free disc. Also a 1920 x 1080 HD film is neither Pal nor Ntsc. Is there something specific about bluray players in USA which will not read a Bluray burnt in UK from a pal .mov file? Many Thanks to any experts who understand this query.

    Burning A Blu Ray Disc

Finally got my recorder and burnt a Blu Ray disc. Everything worked very well and the 90 gb ended up as 6.5gb on the disc. It all played back without a problem. Many Thanks for your help and just to let you know I set all the quality settings to max and there has been no playback problems on my dvd player. Playing back using the roxio player on my mac was no where near as good. Thank you.

    Burning A Blu Ray Disc

Hi I looked at that and saw how to save as a disk image. The space taken up on the BluRay disc is approximately 2gb. The file is actually approx 90gb (my apologies ) and is an uncompressed 1920 x 1080. When Toast does the compression is there any control I have over what quality the file on the disc will be or is Blu Ray a standard viewing size? I realise an ordinary DVD is 720 x 576 for PAL systems but what is the size for Blu Ray. I just want to get the best quality I can on the Blu Ray . I just don't understand what is the maximum I can get. Thank you.

    Burning A Blu Ray Disc

Hello I am a Titanium newbie but have used Toast 6 for 7 years or so. I have Titanium Pro on the mac and 6gb ram plus Os 10.6.8. I want to burn a BluRAY disc and I have a 30gb .mov file exported from Final Cut. Can I drag and drop this into titanium and let it compress it and then create a disk image? There does n't appear to be much info on this but maybe I am not looking the right place. Thank you
