OK Andrew posted in my account this yesterday "Hi guys,
I've recently upgraded my Windows 7 Professional PC to accommodate two new 4TB HDDs. My C: is still on an older 1TB drive.
I was wanting to save my Easy VHS to DVD recordings on one of the two new 4TB drives, each formatted as GPT (not FAT32 or NTFS), but Roxio records for 0 - 1 second and then stops. When I record to my C:, formatted as NTFS, it records perfectly.
This also happens with my copy of Easy VHS to DVD 3 PLUS.
So, here are my questions:
1/ Is there a known issue with easy VHS to DVD &/ or easy VHS to DVD 3 PLUS whereby they won't record to GPT formatted Windows drives?
2/ If there is an issue, is there a patch for either/ both programs which will allow my to record to GPT drives?
3/ Is there a newer version of this program which will allow me to save to the GPT drives if a patch or work-around is not available?
Thanks for your assistance - I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Now hard drives are getting bigger into the future and it is my understanding from what Andrew told me the big hard drives are only in the new system. I presume at some point Roxio may make the future new products compatible with this new system. I'm sorry for getting Andrew to creating a new topic, I now have book marked the topics including this topic.
