  1. So, after a year and a half I finally got my HD Gamecap Pro to work, although I've already ran into another problem. When I click the "START CAPTURE" button, the status changes to "recording" yet the "time elapsed" stays at 00:00:00. Please help? I've waited ages to get this to work and now I can't even do anything with it now that it's working.

    Well cdanteek, I was looking forward to clicking that link, but free I did I noticed something. That page leads to the steps that are in my first post. Even though I already did those steps (as mentioned in my first post), I did them again to see if it would make a difference. Sadly, I was still confronted with the same message after being stopped at the same part. This really is putting me down, not being able to do anything after spending $150, but I think it's going to be like that until I find some sort of error and turn it around. I await your further concerns. Goodbye (for now)!

    Thanks for the reply, Jim! I did the prep steps in order, and proceeded to do the following steps. I ran the installation, and was confronted with the same problem. If you'd like, I could post the log files from that installation attempt. Also, to answer your question - no, nothing Roxio-related is in my Programs and Settings in the Control Panel (this is my first Roxio product, and I have not installed any software from other products or the Game Capture HD Pro. Hopefully I'll hear from you again soon! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    *Update* Tried again 2 days later after moving the files that were on the disc over to a folder on my hard drive (people were saying on other posts that this could help). Still, no result. I'd like to actually use what I bought, so if there is anything someone can do to help, I would love to hear it.

  6. Today, I received my Roxio Game Capture HD Pro. I'm very happy to have it and finally do something with it, but there is a problem with that. Every time I try to install the program and content from the installation DVD, I get stopped at the end and met with a message saying, "Roxio Game Capture HD Pro Wizard was interrupted." Here's the message I'm getting: http://i.imgur.com/8wngj.png After that happened, I went online to look for some resolutions to my problem. I found a support page for Roxio and did everything they said that was there: If installing from disc, try copying all files from the disc to a folder on the hard drive then installing from hard drive. If the installation rolls back at .Net Framework or has error 0643, uninstall .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 from Control Panel If the installation rolls back at DirectX, install DirectX from DIRECTX_FEB10 folder on the disc then reinstall. Disable Startup items from msconfig. If installing from disc, try copying all files from the disc to a folder on the hard drive then installing from hard drive. I tried all of these, and the installation was still not completed (it kept stopping at the same part - this is the part that it stops at: http://i.imgur.com/2Ifxo.png). If anybody can help me figure out what is going wrong (or what I'm doing wrong), I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time. Edited to get rid of the log files since it is zipped properly, in the next post.
