    "no Input" Problem

I solved the problem, it fixed after I did a reinstall, I luckily found my product key and now it's working. EDIT: Also didn't know pressing Topic Solved meant the post would be removed, oopse.

    "no Input" Problem

...Are you freaking kidding me? This thing has a really sick sense of humor or something, first it doesn't know it's getting a signal when it clearly is otherwise the monitor wouldn't be on and now it doesn't know the disk is in the tray, when it clearly is otherwise it wouldn't be running the repair program... I'm not going to lie, getting a little upset.

    "no Input" Problem

And I have updated everything just to make sure, I even went into Device Manager to both make sure it was there and that it was up to date, which is was, and did an update check when I tried to use repair on the installation disk. EDIT: It's actually NO INPUT not NO SIGNAL but I can't edit the title. Also just tried it on a different computer and it works, so now I'm extra confused.

    "no Input" Problem

I'm trying to capture footage on my PC using my Roxio. It's worked just fine for a long time and it's suddenly not working... well, it's working in the sense that the signal from the HDMI cords goes from the computer tower, through the Roxio capture device, and to my monitor just fine, but the program itself just says "No Signal" which makes absolutely no sense at all. I'm not trying to capture footage of a console, I'm trying to capture footage of my computer games, it's worked just fine up till now. I've already tried repair several times, even with my anti-virus protection off, I assume the HDMI cables are just fine since the signal does go through to my monitor, the Roxio itself doesn't seem damaged and this was all worked just fine the other day, what happened? Here are my computer specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. I have the exact same problem where when I adjust the resolution bar and suddenly I get something, but it comes through all glitchy and broken. I have no idea what to do, please help me. http://forums.suppor...o-signal-issue/ Again, I'm trying to capture footage OF my computer, ON my computer, not a console.

"no Input" On Roxio Game Capture Hd Pro Capture Screen.

Or here's a thought, run the program disk and hit REPAIR! Worked like a charm. Keep it simple next time, geez. Really wanted to go on an angry rant here because this is the second time I was not given the solution to a very simple problem, please just give more obvious solutions first before asking us to arm the tactical lasers in orbit to fix it.

Video, But No Game Audio, Or Commentary

What I'm going to try is DVI to RCA plugs and a Audio Y Cable Splitter both into the input side. The DVI port for video and the Y Cable Splitter for audio from the speaker plug in the back of the computer. Will this work? EDIT: Or wait, is all I need is the RCA plugs? But I'm also trying to use headphones... Or should I use a HDMI to RCA plug? I'm at a loss for what cables to use for the component plugs

Video, But No Game Audio, Or Commentary

Wait, will the DVI port on the back of the computer work? What if I just hooked it up to a DVI to HDMI cord and plugged that into the input side of the Roxio? EDIT: Nevermind, that wouldn't work because it would still not be getting audio, just video.

Video, But No Game Audio, Or Commentary

I have, and yes, I understand which port is which, I've just only found one method that actually works, and that was routing it to my HDTV, it forces the video and audio to go through the HDMI cord. It works best with my TV as it has a headphone jack I can use, otherwise through my monitor, the noise comes out and pollutes my microphone's recording... To get it to work with my monitor, I suppose I'll just have to get component cables, but at least I found one method that works, even if it's not what I'd prefer. I have a component cable that plugs into the speaker port on the back of my computer that I can hook up to the Roxio, but that didn't work either, as it can't use that and the HDMI input port, it just defaults to the HDMI port. The next thing I'm going to try is a component cable that can hook up to my modern, I'm thinking a component cable that can connect to the DVI port, and use that same component cable that hooks to the two audio ports. So again, I'm going to attempt component cables going into the input side, and an HDMI cord going out of the output side, into my monitor, and see if that works, similar to the PS3 setup, which does work. Sorry for the late reply, this has been a side project that's taken up a lot of time, and I had some stuff to take care of before trying something new.

After much painstaking experimentation, I figured it out myself... the sound needs to be going through the monitor itself in order to be captured, not the speakers. Thanks anyway.

    No Audio

I received complaints that my last topic wasn't specific enough, so forgive me for re-posting my question, but I need an answer ASAP. I'm trying to record Game Footage from my Computer, not footage from a Console, raw footage from my PC itself, like from a game on Steam directly installed to my PC and save the video footage on my computer. I'm using two HDMI cords, one going from the back of my computer, then into the Roxio, and into the Monitor, the USB going back into my computer, or a separate laptop (same results either way). When I start capturing footage, everything looks and plays fine, I hear the game, the program is running just fine, and everything's recording. But then I look back at my recorded footage, and there's no audio. The footage is dead silent with a faint, very quiet static noise. I don't understand why, but something is blocking the Audio feed from being recorded along with the Video feed by Roxio's program. Please help me, anyone who can help as soon as possible, I'd greatly appreciate it. My Specs are... OS Name Windows 7 Home Premium Processor Intel® Core™ i5-2550K CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3801 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s) Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 16.0 GB Graphic Card: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6738) Total Memory 1TB

Video, But No Game Audio, Or Commentary

I have changed my problem's description, as it seemed there is a lot of confusion as to what I was asking for help on. The broad outline is I can record Video on my PC but no Audio is recording at all.

Video, But No Game Audio, Or Commentary

Okay, I was just saying that I was able to record with my PS3 to A.) prove the device worked and B.) to ask about recording voice commentary. I posted this in the PC Capture category, so I thought it was a given I was capturing PC Game Footage, I misunderstood.
