  1. Thanks, Brendon. I think that is my only option. It would seem that, while the sliced & diced products have been tested to work independently, they have not been tested to work in pairs. What I will do is try to get a refund on the most recent one that I have purchased--it's too late for the others--and either get the full package or look at another product. After this experience, you'll understand if I'm not quite as cheery about Roxio as I was coming in.
  2. That makes my scenario even more bizarre then, doesn't it? It shouldn't be a product that displays on my list of purchased products.
  3. I have no idea what Roxio Central is. That's just what appears now, and I haven't purchased it (this link http://roxio-central-core.software.informer.com/ describes it, though). And I said that they installed into a folder named "Roxio 2010", not "Roxio Creator 2010"--I'm guessing it's because they're part of the same 'family'. The new RecordNow is here: http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/recordnow/premier/overview.html. It replaces the 2010 version, so I can't find a link to that. Brendon found the link to Easy DVD (above). I'm sure you're right, but Roxio Creator is $100, while I got the two software packages for about $40 (with incentive pricing).
  4. Thanks, I'll try this today and see what kind of response I get.
  5. Frankly, I'm in a Catch-22 with support: I need a support code to contact Roxio, and I can't get a support code.
  6. Frankly, I'm in a Catch-22 with support: I need a support code to contact Roxio, and I can't get a support code. (see http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/86373-registered-but-no-support-code/)
  7. Thanks, Brendon, for finding the one package. Yes, myguggi, I made the mistake of typing "RecordNow 2010 Premier" when I meant "RecordNow Premier" (because it was installed into a "Roxio 2010" folder). For both myguggi and sknis, I did note that I had upgraded it to "RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier", so I thought that it would be enough information. I can assure you that the problems I had in #4 did occur. I'm using Windows 7, and I'm sure that I'm running each one to completion. The fact is, as I mentioned in #1, I can see the installer purposely deleting the other product.
  8. Yes, that's how I found out that I needed the code.
  9. I have purchased both Roxio Easy DVD Copy Premier and Roxio RecordNow Premier. These are the problems I am having: If I install one of these two products, it uninstalls the other (the installer shows the step where it does the uninstall). There seems to be no way to have both products installed at the same time. I had RecordNow 2010 Premier and yesterday (1/31) upgraded to RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier. Even though they have renamed it slightly to a "Music Lab", the name has stayed the same on the installed product It's installed to the Roxio 2010 folder The product looks the same! I can't find any distinction with the version number either, which seem completely detached from the product. [*]I registered RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier today and the registration email contained no support code (mentioned in a previous post). [*]After registration, my list of registered products is now completely messed up! Easy DVD Copy Premier no longer shows--it did until this registration A new registration for Roxio Central--a product I never purchased--has been added Rather than showing me upgraded to RecordNow Music Lab 10, I now have two entries for Roxio RecordNow Premier. So far, I like the rip/burn speed but the user interface is unintuitive and feels like they're slapping stuff together. I feel like I'm being ripped off.
  10. I would like to get support from Roxio but I can't even get to step one! I bought RecordNow Music Lab 10 Premier yesterday (1/31) and registered it today. The registration email contains no support number and the purchase order contains only a Customer Number, Order Number, Password and Product Key. What do I do now?
