  1. So it was okay? I guess I'll just try loading the new product number in. Thanks for your help!
  2. cdanteek, I bought it from a seller on Ebay. Here's a link to the seller page. http://www.ebay.com/sch/calipsico332/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686 It only came with one disc ina white sleeve, and not even the box nor instructions, so maybe I was ripped off and didn't realize it! The program still worked when installed though so that's odd. REDWAGON, Thank you for your advice, I'll do just that.
  3. Hi, Following the advice I was given the last time I posted here I bought a new 2012 Roxio Creator Pro program to create DVDs for my videos and pictures.Everything went well, the program ran smoothly on my computer as well. (It's a new computer I only bought it last Oct) BUT... when I go to write a disc something goes wrong. It appears to be writing just fine, it gets all the way to the end (95% or so) then it just closes. The second time I tried it I received this message: The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occurred in the application at location 0x11b33515 Oh and, when installing the program it said there was a problem with my product key, but it seemed to work anyway. I received another product key from the online seller I'd purchased it from, but they said I'd have to uninstall it to put it in, and I didn't want to loose my project and all my hard work so I didn't do it. Not sure if that has anything to do with this... THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Help! Trying To Burn Dvd In Roxio-2009-Mydvd

To answer both of your questions, yes I had output the video to my harddrive before. But for some reason the video and the sound weren't matched up so peoples' lips didn't match what was being said and it was a terrible mess! But that was before my computer was so loaded down and I don't think it would do that now. And the unlinked videos aren't anything I would have needed so that was good. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED!! I defragged my computer, and it must have cleared up more space because I computer was able to function better and it wrote the disc! Thank goodness. Now I can buy a newer Roxio version and never have to deal with that again! Thank you so much for your help!

Help! Trying To Burn Dvd In Roxio-2009-Mydvd

Thank you so much for those recommendations and links. But I'm confused, where do I go from here with my production? Is there a way to write it to a disc? Or is my work all for nothing?

Help! Trying To Burn Dvd In Roxio-2009-Mydvd

Okay, so now I know that Roxio Creator 2010 and newer are the only ones that will work. I will have to buy the new version. But what about all my work? I've spent close to two months getting this production together! It's very intricate and complex! Is there a way I could transfer it if I bought the new version? Or is there a way just to write this and get it off my computer so I could remove the old program? Thank you!

Help! Trying To Burn Dvd In Roxio-2009-Mydvd

@ogdens I am using Windows 7. @sknis I'm sorry about the font, I didn't know that was a rule. I'm not sure how to attach a file to this message, or which part of the DxDiag file you need. Here's the first part of it: ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 2/12/2013, 11:52:32 Machine name: HANNAH-HP Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.120830-0333) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard System Model: p6-2136 BIOS: Ver: HO2_710.ROM vHO27.10 Processor: AMD A6-3620 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics (4 CPUs), ~2.2GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM Available OS Memory: 5608MB RAM Page File: 1822MB used, 9392MB available Windows Dir: C:\windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode I am very sure that it was 3,000 GB but you're right that does sound insane. Any time I go to edit the project my computer shuts off and I end up having to hold the on/off button on my tower to get things back to normal but... I'll bring it up and check then edit back here if it wasn't that big of a project. Thank you so much for your help thus far! EDIT: Silly me, the project is "3302.0 MB"
  9. Hi, Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place I am desperate for help! I've been having SERIOUS trouble with this project. FYI my computer's video drive has been having problems lately so that's been making my computer shut down whenver I watch video, so that might be part of the problem. But I only bought this computer a few months ago! I finally finished formating everythign the way I want it to be and now it won't write! I click 'WRITE' and I recieve the message that says there are a few unlinked videos, I click "write anyway" and it sits there frozen then after a while closes. The project is solid videos so maybe it's too much for it? Plus, my new computer combined with the older program has been fickle anyway. The total GB for the project is over 3,000 I think... and I have it on LP. Thank you in advance! -Hannah
