Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus Hangs and Freezes for a long time after clicking Record causing interrupted recording. Newly purchased and first time using; Using Windows 10.

Hi. All video operations have stopped working in MyDVD Plus v7 (all other operations work: audio, copy, etc.). No matter which Video operation I choose it returns "Sonic Digitalmedia Plus has encountered a problem..." I have tried everything I can think of short of system recovery. Any help? (XP Media Center)
