    Write Session vs Write Disc

What is the difference between WRITE SESSION and WRITE DISC? I need to write ~2.0Gb to a DVD but want to add to it later. I believe I want 'Write Session' to be able to add to it later but am unsure... Thanks!

    Toast Default Recorder

Groan...thanks. I see it now in Mac System Preferences. I was looking in Toast's Preferences. Thank you!

    Toast Default Recorder

Thanks, but on a Mac it is not in System Preferences as I too thought it would be. Nor is it within the program proper. Any other thoughts? Again, thank you!

    Lightscribe Questions

I think they have a very long way to go in developing the technology behind Lightscribe. I was extremely disappointed at the pea-green cast from the dyes; I was hoping to be able to, for instance, print jet black on a clear background. Incredulously this is not possible; you're stuck with that ugly shade as a background <gag>. Indeed, even with several re-burns you canNOT get a decent black...it has a definite color cast. And this regardless of whether the media was Verbatim, Maxell, or HP. I bought them all. I was so taken back by the quality that I sent samples to LaCie in the event that I was doing something wrong. When they received them I was told in so many words "That's as good as you're going to get". :-(

    Toast Default Recorder

Greetings, Originally I had selected Toast to be the default recorder. I now want to change that. I.e., I do NOT want Toast to launch when media is inserted. For the life of me I cannot find where to make this change. Any assistance GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

Burning - Mac Only Or Mac & Pc. Anything Lost?

Thank you! It is the integrity that I am concerned with. If I had my druthers I'd stick with Mac Only but again, these are being sent out to both Mac and PC Users. Again, thank you!

Burning - Mac Only Or Mac & Pc. Anything Lost?

Greetings! I am using a Mac (G5, OS-X 10.5) and when burning .JPG's, et al, to CD or DVD I would prefer to use "Mac And PC" but I am wondering if anything is lost (i.e., Metadata) during this process since these were created natively on the Mac with Photoshop CS2. Any thoughts on this? It's important because I need to send these CD's and DVD's to customers that use both Mac and PC's. Thanks!

    Toast V7.x And Lightscribe

I have a Mac G5 (non-Intel) and Toast Titanium v7.x. I want to purchase a LightScribe DVD burner but from what I have seen and read thus far, Toast v7.x for the Mac does not support LightScribe? Is this correct? Many thanks.

Problem With New Osx Update And Burning

Interesting, as I found just the opposite. I was a moment away from telling Roxio to redo the Code from scracth on V7 and give me my money back; however, when I upgraded to OS 10.4.4 the Sector errors went away. FWIW, I burnt at 4X. Verification was fine.
