  1. Hello Brandon, First, you rule ! I want to thank you very much for your help and for providing me these samples, that's exactly what I need. You are right, I just compared them with Notepad++ and it's exactly the same. Good news for us ! That means we can order some NXT3 for our users. Thanks again and have a nice weekend ! Konnan
  2. Hello everyone ! I'm the same guy that started this thread more than a year ago : http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/91082-rox-and-roxio-sample-files-to-download/ We modified our software so it outputs .ROX files instead of .RCL files. We did it using NXT2 file format so we are wondering if we need to tweak it again because NXT3 is available and NXT2 is not really available anymore. In short, are NXT2 .ROX files compatible with NXT3 .ROX files ? If you do not know but if you could send me a file sample to download, that would be much appreciated. You can obfuscate the contents of the sample file if necessary, as long as the xml tags are kept untouched. Thank you very much for your help, Konnan
  3. It may sound stupid, but I just want to be sure. You can create .ROX files with either Roxio Creator NXT 2 Pro or not Pro ? Thanks ! Konnan
  4. I think it would be possible to convert it, but you will have to write the utility yourself, it doesn't exist. RCL files are plaintext and ROX files are XML, so you will have to make a nice script to convert it from one format to another. It might not be easy, it could be easier to regenerate your projects using the new file format.
  5. Hello cdanteek, Thank you very much for your sample file. Luckily, it's the same exact file once I open it with Notepad++ it seems to be quite valid XML. It will be scriptable. It means that at least there's compatibility between .ROX files from 2011 to 2014... Thank you very much cdanteek ! Have a nice weekend ! Konnan
  6. Hello Brendon, First, I want to thank you very much for your help and for providing me these samples, that's exactly what I need. You even went the extra mile with the same compilation in both formats, that will help greatly. If you look at my first post, you will see that I am aware of the RCL and ROX/ROXIO controversy. That's exactly why I want samples to check what we have to do to generate, regenerate and/or convert either automatically with a script or manually our RCL files to ROX/ROXIO files, since it will get harder to purchase licences of Roxio Creator 2012. By the way, if someone on this board is using NXT 2 and can provide me samples, it would be much appreciated. Thanks again and have a nice weekend, Konnan
  7. As far as I know, they are made with Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6, so they are compatible up to Roxio Creator 2012, if I'm not mistaken. Currently, we are on Windows XP, so we do not mind much having users using old Roxio software. We are slowly migrating to Windows 7, we will have to purchase new licenses and here's the problem... To have a rough idea what we will have to do if we migrate to newer Roxio software, we would like to have some samples to see what kind and what amount of work would be needed. Thank you very much ! Konnan
  8. Hello, We are looking to replace our .RCL file library with .ROX and/or .ROXIO file library, so that our projects can be burned in the newer Roxio Creator versions. Is it possible to have sample files to download ? We want to know what kind of work we will have to do to convert/rebuild them from our data. I heard it's XML behind, but we all know that all XML files aren't the same. I think .ROXIO is for 2010, 2011, 2012 and .ROX for NXT and NXT 2 ? You can obfuscate the sample files if there's a need. Thank you very much for your help ! Konnan
