How Can I Record A Live Commentary For A Livestream?

I have it set up so that on the input side, I have my headset (Turtle Beach X12's) and component cables attatched and on the output side I have component cables going to my TV. I would do HDMI but when I do I get a black no signal screen. But that's for a different thread. But anyway, where do I plug in my my mic? Do I keep it in my controller? Or do I plug it in somewhere else? I'm positive its supposed to be my controller.

Do you seriously think I hadn't tried that? It wants me to record audio separately. Why should I have to? I spent $150 on the product and it should have what I want already included. Why is Roxio relying on other companies for there product to record live reactions?
  3. I want to livestream but the RGC doesn't record live commentary. How can I make it so that the RGC picks up my voice as well as the rest of my party's voices?

It is installed correctly. Sometimes under source the Roxio Game Capture HD PRO is available but nothing else is and when it is available the "no signal" text is red instead of green

So it attached a screenshot with my issue on it. My PC specs are Processor: AMD A6-3620 APU with Radeon HD Graphics RAM: 8 GB with 7.49 usable System Type: 64-bit OS: Windows 7 I spent 100 dollars on this when it was on sale on Amazon. It should work out of the box with no issues. Everything is plugged correctly, and for the smart-a** that asks "Is the power on?" Yes it is. I'm definitely not buying any Roxio product ever again because from what I hear this happens to EVERYONE.
