    Mounting Sd2F

    Yes, tried this, but without any positive result. The effect is the same as when I mount the image from within Toast itself...

    Toast 12 Still Not Able To Mount .sd2F Images

    Doubleclicking on a .Sd2f file to open the file inside Toast itself works, yes. However, your tip to change the extension to .iso and use Mount It doesn't work for me. In the terminal I can see several instances of the ToastImageMounter process, obviously crashing and respawn itself, and when I then start Toast, the application simply hangs and has to be killed. Same effect when mounting the .Sd2f file from within Toast. Manually executing ToastImageMounter via terminal to mount an audio CD image I recently created gives the following output: ~ thorsten$ /Applications/Toast\ 12\ Titanium/Toast\ Titanium.app/Contents/MacOS/ToastImageMounter Downloads/Avantasia\ -\ The\ Mystery\ Of\ Time\ \(Limited\ Edition\).Sd2f conforms to IOMedia ((((((((((((((((((((((((( <CFBasicHash 0x7952b5a0 [0xa1716fa0]>{type = mutable dict, count = 13, entries => 0 : <CFString 0xa170c534 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Leaf"} = <CFBoolean 0xa1717430 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = true} 1 : <CFString 0xa170d154 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Writable"} = <CFBoolean 0xa1717438 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = false} 2 : <CFString 0x7952b3d0 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "TOC"} = <CFData 0x7952b4d0 [0xa1716fa0]>{length = 169, capacity = 169, bytes = 0x00a70101011000a00000000001000001 ... 0c00000000422014} 7 : <CFString 0x7952b180 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Preferred Block Size"} = <CFNumber 0x7952b050 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = +2352, type = kCFNumberSInt64Type} 13 : <CFString 0xa170b074 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Type"} = <CFString 0x7952b440 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "CD-ROM"} 14 : <CFString 0xa170f7d4 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Size"} = <CFNumber 0x7952afb0 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = +760749696, type = kCFNumberSInt64Type} 15 : <CFString 0xa1710564 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Content Hint"} = <CFString 0xa1707ce4 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = ""} 16 : <CFString 0x7952b2a0 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "IOMediaIcon"} = <CFBasicHash 0x7952b3f0 [0xa1716fa0]>{type = mutable dict, count = 2, entries => 0 : <CFString 0xa1707eb4 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "CFBundleIdentifier"} = <CFString 0x7952b3a0 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "com.apple.iokit.IOCDStorageFamily"} 1 : <CFString 0xa1710ca4 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "IOBundleResourceFile"} = <CFString 0x7952af60 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "CD.icns"} } 17 : <CFString 0x7952b160 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Removable"} = <CFBoolean 0xa1717430 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = true} 18 : <CFString 0xa170d004 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Open"} = <CFBoolean 0xa1717438 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = false} 20 : <CFString 0xa170fcf4 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Whole"} = <CFBoolean 0xa1717430 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = true} 21 : <CFString 0x7952b060 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Content"} = <CFString 0xa1707ce4 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = ""} 22 : <CFString 0x7952b140 [0xa1716fa0]>{contents = "Ejectable"} = <CFBoolean 0xa1717430 [0xa1716fa0]>{value = true} } ))))))))))))))))))))))))) DISK IS NOT OPEN =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!remount need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== =============================================================== Then the process obviously crashes, restarts itself, prints the same messages, crashes again etc.pp. Any more ideas?
  3. Hi, Toast 12 crashes when I want to mount a .Sd2f image of an audio CD I created some time ago. I have to reboot to be able to use Toast again The same already happened with Toast 11 on my machine, and as far as I have seen there have been more or less lenghty discussions on this topic. Is there any solution for this? Is is possible to convert the .Sd2f files to a more common file format, say, ISO? Simply renaming the file as was mentioned in another thread (http://forums.support.roxio.com/topic/95929-convert-sd2f-to-iso/) doesn't work for me... Regards Thorsten

    Convert Sd2F To Iso?

    Hi, I'm also interested in this. Have you ever found any solution whether this is possible at all, and if yes, how? On the other hand, simply renaming a .Sd2f image to .iso doesn't work for me. Trying to mount that file results in an error message "image not recognized".

    Mounting Sd2F

    Sorry, but I cannot reproduce this: Changing the extension to .iso results in an error message saying "image not recognized"...
