Is there a way to rotate video?

Excellent! Thanks so much for the help. I think I've got it. I'm very grateful for the help.

Thank you. That was very helpful. I think I can do it now. I just can't make it play for more than a couple of seconds.

Ok... I'm learning... Insert a colored panel? Do you mean a color photo of some sort?
  4. I finally got Creator 2010 to work on my computer. I had to have The Geek Squad install it because the emails from tech support were of no use in that. However that's not my concern at the moment.... I have an interview with my mother that a friend of mine recorded on her phone. I can import it into VideoWave no problem. However, the person who recorded it didn't know how to use her phone, and she recorded it sideways. Is there a way I can rotate it 90 degrees in VideoWave or some other part of Creator 2010? I know you can do this with photos, but I can't find a way to do it with videos. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

    Can't Convert CDs

I just updated Rhapsody. I wish I hadn't. Before I did Roxio was working great. Perhaps Rhapsody did something. When I put in a CD now I can't get it to download titles anymore. It also doesn't realize that the last track is there at all. Does anyone know how to fix this. Thanks.

    Mixing CDs

I just upgraded to EMC9 because I was having such a tough time with EMC8. I have the same problem with both versions. Perhaps I should completely uninstall 8, but it never asked me to do this during installation, so I don't think that's the probelm. The problem, in short, is this. I will do a transition from track 1 into track 2. The transition works all right, but when the transition is over, I end up missing the next couple of seconds of track 2. It skips up to where I suppose it thinks it should be, thereby ruining my transition. Is there a better way to do this? I have a Dell Dimension DIM4700 running a Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHz 2.79 GHz, 512 MB of RAM. It's XP, Service Pack 2, Media Center Edition. I have Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit and SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio for sound. Someone thought that having two might cause a conflict, but I wouldn't have a clue which I should disable nor how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had hoped spending the money would solve the problem, but it hasn't. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give.

    Error Message Using Sound Editor

I have a Dell computer. Dell Dimension DIM4700. Pentium 4 CPU 2.80 GHz. 2.79GHz, 512 MB of RAM. Widows XP Media Center Edition. Service Pack 2. My sound card is Sound Blaster Live 24 Bit and SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio. I'm not sure what other information would be helpful, or where to find it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Fred

    Error Message Using Sound Editor

I'm getting the following error message: The instruction "ox7c282lb2" referenced memory at "0x000001c". The memory could not be "read." I completely removed Roxio from the system and extracted the files for a fresh install, put in my CD key, and I get the same message. Can anyone help me? Thanks. Fred

EMC 8 Loses Music During Transitions

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it still cuts out music after an overlap. Has this been fixed in 9? Thanks again for your help. Fred
  11. I've used Roxio products for years, and it seems as though my current software fails every time they come out with an update, so perhaps I just need to move to 9, but I would like to know if there is a way to fix this one first. When I use Advanced Projects to create an audio CD, it will often give me a fade between overlapping tracks even when I choose the "no fade" option. I am learning to tolerate this, but evne worse is that now when I do any overlapped transition, it will do the transition, and then skip 4 or 5 seconds of the song coming in. I simply lose music. I have double and triple checked to make sure that there is nothing wrong with any of the tracks I'm using, so something else must be going on. Therefore, 2 questions: 1. Can this be fixed in 8? 2. Have EMX 9 fixed this problem? Thanks. Fred
