    Roxio Audio Issues

I havent messed with my roxio in a while, but when i installed it on to my laptop, it had updates all the way to 3.0. I installed all of them. The roxio is working perfectly fine. Thing is. I have two different sets of audio outputs now. 1 is my normal one. The second one is DEMO TDA19978 (AMD High Definition Audio....) which i have figured out is basically the audio going to the capture card. But, when i have that selected, i cant hear my pc game audio. Or ANY pc audio. And if i switch it to my usual audio output so that I CAn hear, then the video capture has no audio. So, how can i set this up to where i can hear my pc audio AND still have audio in my capture? Cuz i even tried plug in headsets and that dosent help either.

    Roxio Audio Issues

I got it resolved. I got an audio repeater software. Repeats the audio from the GameCap to my headset.

    Roxio Audio Issues

Where on the output? All there is is the hdmi port and the av cable ports. Update: There is NOT a way to plug any sort of headset in the GameCap. I tried and i broke one of the freakin av ports.... I dont use them much anyways but still.... Dangit. All well.

    Roxio Audio Issues

Ok. I think i see the issue. I have no audio because the screen im using has no internal speakers. But with the DEMO selected, how am i to get audio to come out of my headset?

    Roxio Audio Issues

I will try this out when im back home in a couple of days. I will update you when i try it. Also, it may need to be noted that I have Windows 10. If that has any effect on anything or this possible fix. But i think that IS the same exact DEMO Playback device i get. So this just might work.

    Roxio Audio Issues

Yes. Exactly that way. Tho i cant get it to show up on BOTH screens. Just one or the other. And like i said, i get two output selections. One is when my gamecap is hooked up. So i get no audio to my headset. I get audio on the video. But if i select my normal output, i get the audio in my headset but not my video.

    Roxio Audio Issues

Im sorry. PC and laptop are the same thing to me. Its a laptop. Hdmi from laptop to gamecap. Hdmi from gamecap to the external monitor. Because for some reason fo laptop you need a second screen for it to record...

    Capturing Ps3 With Hdmi?

The last time I recorded PS3 I could only do hd component cables. The Green Blue Red White and Yellow cables. But the max that can do is 1080i and that makes the color not as vibrant. Is there a way to record with HDMI on the PS3 yet, somehow? Or maybe a way to make the colors look more vibrant like HDMI does? Or maybe, would putting it in 720p give it it's vibrant colors back?

    Capturing Ps3 With Hdmi?

I have tried to put HD component cables at 1080p. It's really weird. They dont support it. But I will surely try 720p. And i saw a video on youtube where a guy had hd components from the ps3 plugged in to the back of the cap and an hdmi plugged in the back too and plugged in to the tv. I'll see if that works also. He had it at 720p for that and it looked great.

    Videowave Constantly Crashes

I know. I ask a lot of questions. Im sorry. I suck at this troubleshooting stuff. But videowave constantly crashes and I dont know why. When I make an edit and it crashes, my CPU is at 2% usage or lower and my ram usage is at 30%. So it's not because of my ram or cpu. Im constantly looking at it. Videowave takes very little resources. I have all my drivers up to date and I have Direct X 11. What's causing the crashing? Also, if you guys know of any free video editors that are like videowave, just minus the crashing, let me know please, if there aint a solution really.

    Videowave Constantly Crashes

I have tried that. Does this with MP4, AVI, MOV. And I learned from when my recorder was messing up so yes, I did the repair thing again. Lol. Do my pc specs fit what Videowave needs tho?

    Videowave Constantly Crashes

I know I posted a question on this already but after one reply, noone pursued it any further. videowave constantly crashes and I dont know why. What's causing the crashing? here's my computer specs OS: Windows 7 Processor: AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics Quad-core 2.0GHz Ram: 8GB The video file is a M2TS, exactly what the recorder records as. And this particular file is a 43 minute video and the size is 3.17GB but it crashes even when editing a 15 minute video. Im just making simple split and delete edits. Nothing special.

Question: Render 30 Fps Or 60 Fps?

So you're saying it dosent matter? Lol. Even if the original say 29.97fps, i can render it in 60 fps? 60fps is obviously smoother than 30fps. You can REALLY tell.
  18. Would it hurt a video and make the video slower/faster if I rendered a 60 fps game footage in 30 fps and vise-versa?
  19. I recorded a game on the ps4 that is ran at 60fps. Does the game capture record it as 60fps or does it convert it to 30fps?

    Audio Delay In Gameplay

This has never happened before. I updated to the latest patch and now, when I edit gameplay videos and even when I render them out, the game audio does not match the video. But in the original recorded video, everything is perfectly fine. How do I fix this? Should I only patch to a certain point? If so, which one because I love the AVCHD outputs. They are perfect and they dont come with the base version for the editor. Many thanks for the help.

    Audio Delay In Gameplay

Finally! I think I got it working! I had to update to 2.0 for it to work on PS4. I didnt know I had to do that. I recorded a 15 minute video, rendered it and it plays perfectly. So, between the driver updates, the repair, and the update, it finally works! Lol. Thanks for the help. I seriously would not have thought to use the repair.

    Audio Delay In Gameplay

Alright. Just ran a driver searcher and installer and these are the drivers that were REALLY out of date or just not installed: 2 Human Interface Devices (HID-compliant game controller) Sound, video and game controllers (driver) Adobe AIR Adobe Flash Player ActiveX Java Runtime Environment DirextX 2 Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 (1 x64 and 1 x86) 2 Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 (1 x64 and 1 x86) And I think two other drivers that are considered game components but I cant remember. Would any of those outdated/not installed drivers cause the issue I am having? DirectX was one of the ones not installed and I believe so was x64 Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.

    Audio Delay In Gameplay

Like I said at the beginning, this has NEVER happened before. So it's frustrating me a bit. I have never had to do what you are saying I should do. But I did it anyways and no cigar. I have even tried recording another game on the PS3 instead of the PS4 and I had the same issues. I recorded the videos at 7000 bitrate. Does that have something to do with it? Because I believe the last time I used it before this shibang happened, I recorded at a 9000 bitrate. Or perhaps if I lower the bitrate to below 7000? I'm also going to see if I have any missing/outdated drivers. And if i come up with nothing, then i dont know what I'm going to do. Lol
