    Recording In 1080P Hd

Hi, I've been using the Roxio Game Cap HD Pro for about a month or so now, and I can only record in 720p HD. This is strange because on the original box that contains the capture card it says that the HD Game Cap is capable of recording in 1080p HD, however when I proceed to set the "profile" to 1080p HD by going to Source >> Options >> Profile I am confronted with only two options as shown below in the FIRST IMAGE: I went on YouTube and had a look at other people's settings also. I found a video where someone was able to set their profile to 1080p HD! This is displayed in the SECOND IMAGE. I purchased the Roxio Game Cap expecting to be able to record in 1080p, so this is quite confusing! Thanks, ~ Alessio

    Video Editing Transition?

Wait... so there is no way to fade in & out the video and audio? Or is it only possible to fade in and out the video?

    Video Editing Transition?

Hi all, Just wondering if it's possible within the roxio videowave editor to fade in not just the video, but the audio as well. My gameplay and commentary is recorded separately so I've tried placing the dissolve transition (the transition i use to fade in & out the gameplay) on the audio in the timeline, but it looks like that transition is only applicable to gameplay footage and not audio footage. UNLESS, I'm missing something. Thanks, ~ Alessio

Am I Correct In Saying This Capture Method/thingy?

    yes. so is that correct?
  6. Am I correct in saying that when this box below is grayed out/not ticked then the capture length is automatically set to as long as possible because there is so set time for the capturing to end?
  7. So I started a YouTube channel about a month ago and I just want to confirm that I've got the best render settings. I'll post a picture below showing the EXACT options that I choose when rendering my edited Xbox 360 gameplay.

Roxio Won't Let Me Render! Please Help!

Hmm im not sure about Adobe Pe. I got the student discount for Adobe CC and that obviously gave me access to all of creative cloud till i leave school for 12$ a month but the audio and video is completely out of sync in premiere pro. Even when recorded at the SAME TIME not commentary in audacity and gameplay in bandicam (and then matched up). I think it's because premiere pro can't handle variable frame rates and i need to have consistent frame rate so i tried to use handbreak instead of freemake video converter but it still doesn't work oh well Anyways, thanks for all your help mate !!!

Roxio Won't Let Me Render! Please Help!

I did that I just tried to render edited CONSOLE gaming footage recorded with the Roxio HD game cap pro and it works! It only doesn't work when rendering edited footage that is recorded by bandicam. Turns out roxio doesn't like bandicam after all. Maybe I should just get Adobe premiere elements since video wave isnt working

Roxio Won't Let Me Render! Please Help!

Ok how about this. I usually make my YouTube videos a minimum of 15 minutes long and a maximum of 30 minutes. This particular video (part 3) of my YT series is 30 minutes. The error message says that the file has exceeded the limit of 4 GB so: if i were to make a copy of part 3.dmsm and call it part 4 and then whilst editing part 3 i'd cut it in half, delete the second 15 minutes of the video and then render the first 15 minutes as part 3. Then in the copy of part 3 called part 4, I'd delete the first 15 minutes of that and render the second 15 minutes as part 4. That way both videos may split down from 4 GB to 2 GB each perhaps. BTW what you just said about video wave not liking bandicam seems logical because my lets play minecraft series for the PC is the first series ive had trouble rendering because of this issue. I've done an entire splinter cell 1 assassins creed 1 and half way through ac2 with the HD GameCap recording the xbox 360 not the pc through bandicam and during recording console gaming i never had this issue. 1 thing i've learned: roxio is VERY buggy.

Roxio Won't Let Me Render! Please Help!

I have no idea why but I have the registered version of Bandicam and when i went to retrieve my recorded video files to put them into video wave ready for editing they were two clips and i can't put these videos on the forum because it's again bigger than 30 MB what was the point of me sharing my clips anyway im a little confused

err it's split into two parts for some reason. bandicam split a 30 minute video into 2 15 minute ones so i just upload one?

wait.. I thought that this is how it goes: I'm trying to render a video i've edited in video wave. The video wave file that contains the edited footage is inside the video wave production. I can't upload a production to anything, It needs to be a video file like mp4 or avi and you do that by rendering it but I can't render ^#!&
