    .vob Files

Vimeo has become the go-to site for video on the web. Numbers of video files are uploaded and shared on Vimeo in every second. Although a wide range of video formats such as AVI, WMV, MOV, 3GP,FLV, MPEG-4,etc are supported by Vimeo or other uploading sites, VOB is not included in the list. If you wanna share VOB videos on Vimeo, you may have to encode VOB to Vimeo supported video formats first.
  2. I found a similar tutorial on Google. Hope it can give you some hint. Good luck!

How To: Copy Video Up To Dropbox To Share

Dropbox is a mobile document and media storage tool that allows users to sync files online for backup. Anything like movies and music on the computer can be saved to the Dropbox. It can support a wide range of formats like .mp4, 3gp, .avi, .mov, wmv, .mpg, .mkv, etc. However, it can not support DVD disc or DVD Video_TS folder directly. Therefore, if you want to add DVD movies to Dropbox for streaming and playback on media devices, you have to convert DVD to MP4 or other formats compatible with Dropbox.

    Problems Importing .mp4 Into Itunes

Basically, iTunes can recognize MP4 videos, well, only in the condition of compressing with the supported codec like MPEG-4 or H.264. Namely, iTunes has nothing to do with those MP4 files with the unmatched codec. So if iTunes won't add MP4 files to library, it is probably due to the codec problem. This is not a tough problem to work out, actually. Since some codecs in MP4 files are unaccepted by iTunes, in order to successfully copy MP4 videos to iTunes as well as sync MP4 to iPod, iPhone, iPad, you'd better encode MP4 to iTunes supported codec.

    Converting Video_TS folders/VOB files

VIDEO_TS files are one of the main folders in a DVD's contents. You can usually view the Video_TS files on your computer and DVD players. However, if you want to play Video_TS in QuickTime, iTunes, iPhone, iPad, etc., or edit Video_TS files with FCP, iMovie you will need to convert Video_TS to MOV first.
