  1. I did not locate a forum for MyDVD connected with Toast 14 so I am posting again to the Toast 14 forum. MyDVD is changing the orientation of a video recorded in portrait orientation to landscape when the video is added to MyDVD. This is very frustrating. Are there any controls to prevent this change from occurring to keep the portrait orientation? The resulting DVD is absurd having 3 landscape oriented videos with a portrait video turned on its side. Kind regards, -John MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), El Capitan 10.11.1, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
  2. I restarted the application MyDVD and changed CDs & DVDs System preference "When you insert a blank DVD" to Open MyDVD. Now the DVDs will burn, however there is a new issue. MyDVD is changing the orientation of a video from portrait to landscape. This is very frustrating. I do not see any controls for changing this orientation. What an absurd automated function! The DVD is useless having 3 landscape oriented videos with a portrait video turned on its side. Kind regards, John
  3. I did not locate a forum for MyDVD connected with Toast 14. I have been using Toast 11 + Blu Ray Plug-in. After upgrading to El Capitan, I have been struggling for two days to make video DVDs. Finally, I upgraded to Toast 14.1. I have been able to make DVD data discs, burning to either of two drives (1) Apple Super Drive (USB) Hl-dt-st DVDRW GX30N and (2) LaCie Tsstcorp CDDVDW SH-S203N. When I try to burn either a DVD-Video or AVCHD HD DVD using MyDVD software that came with Toast 14, I receive the following message: "No compatible drive has been found." I have read the MyDVD Help. It does not specify selecting DVD drives. I can save .iso files. Why cannot MyDVD actually burn DVDs? What am I missing? I would appreciate any insight anyone might have.
