    Audio settings

So I have been using a Roxio Gamecap HD Pro the last few weeks to livestream my Nintendo Switch. It has worked mostly fine, but I have noticed a recurring issue. Any time the screen fades black to enter a loading transition in a game, the video and audio will skip/stutter. I normally use my gamecap with OBS, rather than the software it came with. This stuttering issue is shown and heard in both software's preview windows. When I check the log files from OBS, it shows that max audio buffering has been reached. This leads me to believe that lowering the audio bit rate may be a solution to this problem. Is there any way to change the audio bit rate? Looking at the gamecap software, I can only find options to change video bit rate. Thank you

    Gamecap HD Pro Nintendo Switch

I actually just got it to work! I'm pretty sure the Gamecap came with a faulty USB cord. I noticed that the light on the device itself sometimes changed from purple to red when jiggled around in the Gamecap's port. I still think this is strange though, because as you said, the red no signal means that the software recognized that the Gamecap was connected to my computer. Also, the order in which I connect wires seemed to effect whether the device works. When I connect the Gamecap to my computer while both HDMI cords are inserted, it doesn't work and shows a red no signal, even with a new cord. But if I connect the Gamecap to my computer first with the new cord, then my TV to the Gamecap second, and third connect my Switch to the Gamecap, it works fine. Thanks a lot for your help in setting this up

    Gamecap HD Pro Nintendo Switch

I just tried it with the resolution set to Auto, 1080p, 720p, and 480p, which are the only options available, but unfortunately they all give a red "no signal."

    Gamecap HD Pro Nintendo Switch

Hello I plugged the roxio into the HDMI port on my computer to test this, and video feed of my computer screen showed up in the software and went through to my TV. Should I try it with something else as well? Here are my Switch settings

    Gamecap HD Pro Nintendo Switch

I got this capture card today, and attempted to use it to record gameplay from my Nintendo Switch. However, I am having a problem where the gamecap hd pro software shows "Status: no signal" in the recording window. I have seen a few videos of people using this card for the Switch, so I do believe it should work. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Thanks
