  1. I'm assuming you're asking what program I am having problems with trying to totally uninstall. Since this was originally asked under the forum topic Roxio Creator Pro 7, it has to do with Roxio Creator Pro 7. Just to refresh, I uninstalled (with customer service assistance), it does NOT show under installed programs BUT ALL the files that were installed are STILL there (videowave, MyDVD, ect...everything that comes with Creator Pro 7 - which is creating havoc because the program application is NOT installed or listed but all 20gbs of info IS still there. Have uninstalled, reinstalled NUMEROUS TIMES along WITH customer service. Their reply - I don't know what the problem is. NO VIRSUS, NO MALWARE OR SPYWARE. Logged as Admin - one person computer. Can't get any clearer than that. Just looked to see if anyone knows if there's still a program around that used to be around years ago that uninstalls everything Roxio. I believe it was called Roxizap or something like that (but that was years ago). Looking for something current and for Creator Pro 7 specifically. Just to clarify, the ONLY thing that completely erased from Roxio Creator Pro 7 was the Corel Paintshop Pro part, which was a WHOLE DIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE other than Roxio.

  3. ok after 2 years of trying to get Corel Paintshop Pro 2018 to FINALLY uninstall when the computer said it wasn't even on there, I found a solution on their site to erase the hidden items that did NOT erase and would not uninstall. Roxio used to have a similar thing that would completely erase everything Roxio. Under PROGRAMS nothing titled Roxio shows BUT when I pull up menus and similar things Roxio Pro Creator 7 STILL shows up AND files were STILL listed. GONE NOW! FINALLY I CAN SAY 'THANKS COREL!" Here's my question - when something "Roxio" does NOT show under PROGRAMS but is STILL there (obviously), does Roxio (or anyone else) have a program that COMPLETELY OBLITERATES anything Roxio WHEN IT DOES NOT SHOW UNDER PROGRAMS? I need to TOTALLY free this computer of all the bug STILL created by this program that NEVER worked. When it was uninstalled CORRECTLY, it STILL had the content files, program files, etc..which were erased BY CUSTOMER SERVICES ADVICE AND CONSOLTATION- BUT issues are STILL there because of hidden leftover files. The issue I'm facing is that the leftovers are creating HUGE problems with other programs like Adobe's WHOLE LIST of video/audio programs for one AND codec issues. If anyone's got a solution or an idea, let me know. I'd really appreciate it - BUT do NOT suggest I reinstall it and uninstall. Have done that literally 100x's already WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE and it hasn't ever worked that way. btw - typical i7 megafast 8-core PC but works like a Commodore 64 with Roxio.
  4. SImple question - how do you add a video if using media selector doesnt work and the tab for ADD VIDEO/AUDIO doesnt work? Either way it says "please wait while Windows configures Roxio NXT Pro 7" and then hangs for an hour and then ask for a file from the disk - no disk/digital download
  5. Ok tried that and of course it DIDNT work. Undocked media selector and unloaded files from VIDEO file under USER. How do you ADD a video because it STILL doesnt work whether you use ADD VIDEO or go under MEDIA SELECTOR. Have been working on NXT Pro7 for over a year just to get it to work AT ALL and the biggest bug is VIDEOWAVE. Any ideas how to ADD A VIDEO when nothing works? And Yes the file IS ok - not corrupt. Regular mp4 and it used to work - ONCE months ago. Nightmare from Roxio St. Thinking to revert back to Creator 2012 because thats the last piece we owned that actually worked. HELP if you can -appreciate it.

    Install issues of NXT7

    Make sure BEFORE you try and install you turn OFF all your anti virus softwares and firewalls. THATS the thing NOBODY tells you and THATS where all the bugs are coming from. Been working on mine for over a YEAR and it STILL wont open and customer support is NO HELP WHATSOEVER. If you've installed it and it shows up under PROGRAMS, uninstall it and then you MUST rid all the residual files. There's a thing called CLEAN UNINSTALL under this forum somewhere about the process. It works but then you have to reboot and AGAIN turn OFF all anti virus/firewalls. What the anti-virus does is quaranteen files thinking they're issues and THATS when you have problems with an install. Hope that helps. SO NOT WORTH IT - my 2 cents AFTER A YEAR!!!!
  7. So how the heck to you correct that????? It won't allow under "add video" or thru media selector so how do you add a video? NXT Pro 7 is SO FULL of bugs it isn't funny and NOT worth the money BUT have to have it because I've got exclusive files to open. Answer please????
  8. IT in another country found THE answer. NOT an easy fix (took some REAL creativity on the Programming Dept), BUT got the #$^@ thing to work just as long to open files again. Files converted via patch process. Dumped everything Roxio/Corel and now files are opened in another MUCH MORE STABLE format and computer is BACK to being the machine we bought. NEVER again Roxio - the Love didn't last. Please don't call or text me. Let's just part ways and call it "even Stephen"...
  9. OK bought NXT Pro7 over a year ago and have YET to get it installed correctly and able to USE. Have called Customer Service 100x's of times and get the usual "uninstall and reinstall" Have done so many times I know the people on the other end by name. Here's my question... Error 1011. Easy fix. Call in - they reset it. Have installed/uninstalled/reinstalled too many times to mention. Have ALWAYS got the reply - "we've reset it for you". Just to be safe I wait a day and then do what they say and the error STILL comes up - no matter what I do. Here's my dilemma. We've got files EXCLUSIVE to this program already on file (company files from various locations) and need to reformat them to something other than ANYTHING from Roxio or Corel so we can use them. Once that's done (IF it can be done), ROXIO is gone FOREVER. Not worth the 6 hrs it takes to install/uninstall/reinstall each time they tell us to do that and CERTAINLY there is MUCH BETTER software AND customer service elsewhere. Just to give you some history, we're an IT company that deals in software solutions just like we're dealing with in this program (Roxio Creator NXT Pro7). Installations were completed correctly with the correct S/n's, virus software off, all the things you have to do in order to get a CLEAN install. Registry cleaned, the whole bit. The computer we're using to do this is a i7 processor with a Quad-core and WAY too much RAM (trust me it's a FAST machine) but when we load Roxio Creator Pro7 it creeps like a snail. IT dept. is stumped (but they did notice a number of flaws in the .msi and .app files but that's probably due to the updates in Windows 10) What I want to do is when they inform me that it's been reset AGAIN, I want to know the CORRECT process of what to do, note by note, line by line. Do you uninstall and do over like they say, do you repair or modify - what exactly MUST YOU DO after a reset from error 1011. Has anybody gotten NXT Pro 7 to work CORRECTLY and consistently, day after day? What did you do to install? Was it downloaded digitally or did you have the physical disks? How did You install it? What process did you use? BE SPECIFIC as possible. Wow - I know this is a LOT to ask but after waiting for over a year for something we bought a LOT of units of and each one having issues, we dumped it FAST. HAD TO - WAAAAAAAAAAY too many issues. BUT we have one last computer that is our only hope of getting back files we MUST have ASAP. If ANYONE can help, We've appreciate it!!! ANY HELP would be great because obviously even Pro's miss things. (and FYI YES we have sent them installation logs and the whole gamut of pictures of desktop screen shots - EVERYTHING they've asked for - NOT ONE RESPONSE for over a YEAR)
