  1. I like to make slideshows of my photos for friends and family. I use either Videowave 9 or MyDVD 9 to do this. When I drag in mp3's for the background music, I noticed that some of them do not work: I.E., you can't hear them when previewing the project; if you burn them, thay are silent on the DVD. Does this have anything to do with the bit rate on the mp3? One bad example is a file with a 320k bit rate. i don't recall if they all are. I'll try to poke around and find another. Since I have kind of a lot of MP3s with that bitrate, I was wondering if there is a setting that I can change to include them in Videowave or MyDVD. You Know, a tweak to a codec, a change to the registry, a bit of fairy dust... What ever works.
  2. I have created a jpeg slideshow in MyDVD. Some from scanned Photos, some from Digital Cameras. All the Digital camera Photos work fine. Most of the Scanned jpeds work OK, but some do not. I have tried reducing the resolution and/or file size on the images that do not display until they are lower than those that do display, to no avail. There is nothing in the documentation about the maximum file size or resolution limitations. I have, of course updated to the latest version of Direct X and updated my video drivers (both already at the latest). No change. No help from tech support (I have a ticket out on it...) I have found no workaround. With this lack of support, I am not inclined to upgrade to the latest version of Roxio. Can anyone duplicate this problem? Can anyone correct this problem? Can anyone recommend an alternate brand of software that makes good DVD slideshow/video disks (with menus)?

    MyDVD 9 Menu background(Audio)

How can I change the main menu background so that it plays ALL of the file I've selected. Currently, it plats about 15 seconds of the file, then starts over. How can I change that? I want it to play the whole file (mp3), then start over.
