    Virtual CD

I finally heard back from support. I cannot do what I wanted to do. I thought that I could set up an area on the hard drive to act like a virtual disk, and burn a cd to the virtual, then read that cd from another program. But I can't... Thanks

    Virtual CD

I would like to burn an audio cd to disk. I've created the disk using tools, but I cannot find a way to make that drive the target. What am I missing. As you can tell I'm a newbie. Thanks in advance.

    creating a cd invalid format

All my music ripped has Protected "YES" in the library, even the ones I can open. Not sure why YES is on, unless media center defaults to that when ripping the songs, there is nothing that I did when ripping that intentionally turned that on. I Can't modify it to NO in Windows Media Player.

    creating a cd invalid format

It seems to be a bug, because if I go into EMC 8 Audio CD I can burn the song to a CD, so emc 8 can read it easy enough to allow it to burn. Cannot use the file in easy disc creator or sound editor, I can use the file in Audio CD. Any suggestions?

    creating a cd invalid format

Sknis, sorry for the confusion.... What i was trying to say is that I got the same message in Sound Editor as I got from Music Disc Creator; "file does not exist or is not a supported audio format". What is further confusing is that Music Disc Creator, media selector will play the song flawlessly, which means emc 8 can read the file. I re-ripped the song and I can use it now, but don't understand why roxio cannot handle the file, especially when it came from the same rip as the others and can play the song I receive this message on about 20% of all songs in my library (which is over 1,000 cd's), so having to re-rip for these songs is time consuming. The 1,000 CDs were ripped using Windows Media Center.... I think I should have stayed away from WMA, did MP3 instead.

Thanks for the suggestion, but when I try loading the song from sound editor, I receive the same message. The music was ripped from a CD, and not bought online. Like I said, I can re-rip, but don't explain why the media selector can play the song and with over a thousand cds ripped to my library, it would take a long time to re-rip them all...

    creating a cd invalid format

I'm using Music Disc Creator adding wma files using the Add Audio Tracks, and get the message: The file "c:\documents ....\my music\Dan Fogelberg\Souvenirs\02 Illonois.wma" does not exist or is not a supported audio file. I can play the song from inside Roxio Media Selector, so the song is ok, and since it will play, it must be in a supported audio format. The song was ripped from a CD and all other songs on that cd ripped at the same time can be selected.... I've run software updates, and it seems I'm up todate with EMC 8, so I'm stuck. I can go back and re-rip, but I've ripped all my cds and I get this message sparodically. Any suggestions would be appreciated.... Thanks,

    DVD Audio extraction

ty for the prompt help and etiquette lesson, but thought it allowable for personal use. . . I'll have to destroy the CD and erase the program

    DVD Audio extraction

using easy media creator 8 I tried to extract audio from a protected DVD-to-MP3 for burning to CD to listen in the car. I got the DVD was protected. I found a program on call ************* and was able to accomplish the task, but was wondering if EMC8 is technically unable to accomplish the samething?
