Can't Install Update To Toast Titanium 11.1

I was able to update to the latest Toast update. I was hoping I would get a new updated version of spin doctor but sadly that didn't happen. I am still using spin doctor in Toast 10

Can't Install Update To Toast Titanium 11.1

When I try to download the update from the toast program itself i get an error -- "update Error The Update is Improperly signed." So I downloaded the update from the support website and got this error--"Install Toast 11.pkg" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Any Help would be appreciated Thanks Dan

    Spin Doctor An Toast 11

Here are the results today. I tried spin doctor in toast 11. I had a download of 7 songs. I divided them, labeled them and then was unable to send them to toast in the convert option so then I tried the audio option that worked yesterday and today it wouldn't let me drag the songs in. So I clicked the iTunes button in Spindoctor and it seemed to be working but crashed after sending the first two of the seven songs. So I deleted the first two and tried again and the program crashed. I thought I could keep the first two songs but when looking at them in iTunes the size was about half of the size that they should have been so I deleted them and went back to using spindoctor in Toast 10. I have both Toast 10 and Toast 11 installed. At one time I deleted both toast 10 and 11 and did a clean install of 11 (I used a document provided by Roxio telling me what and where to delete files)and had a lot of issues so I then installed 10 again and went back to using it. I could try this again I have the directions for a clean install printer out on my desk but hesitate as it didn't work out very well last time. I forgot to add I am on Mac Os 10.8.2 and on the very latest Toast update (11.1) and Spindoctor Update (1.01) Thanks for your input. Danny

    Spin Doctor An Toast 11

When using toast 10 I am unable to transfer tunes directly into iTunes so as a work around I drag them into toast. I dropped them under the convert button using the audio option. I am trying to use the new Spindoctor in Toast 11 and again I can't send tunes directly into iTunes -The program crashes. so i wanted to use the same work around but I am unable to drag and drop then under the convert button. I can drag and drop under the audio button but under that button All I can do is create a CD Any help Would be appreciated. Danny

    Spin Doctor Problems

Thanks for the response. Just to clear things up I have totally erased Toast 10 and it's version of cd spindoctor. And I deleted all the Com. Roxio files and did a clean install of Toast 11 and then applied all of it's updates. In trying to get the output to Toast 11 into Toast i am using the convert window, I drag and drop and they never copy over and there is no error message. When I click on the Toast icon I have to Force Kill Spin doctor X because it does not respond. if I click on the iTunes button everything work fine but the size of the individual tracks that are output are totally out of alignment I have attached a copy of the iTunes out put. The first track is the the entire size of album, and contains all the songs. The rest of the tracks are totally mixed up. I did not identify all the tracks as I have done that about 20 times with bad results each time. This time I just highlighted all the tracks and assigned the artist to them all. Dan

    Spin Doctor Problems

I tried this option this morning but when I tried to drag all 14 tracks (still working on the same wave form) they would not drag over to the convert window. I tried dragging all 14 at the same time, several time and gave up and clicked the toast button at the top of Spindoctor and then watched the circle of death spin around and finally had to use force quit which said that Spindoctor was not responding. any suggestions? Spin Doctor Problems

Ok I am at it again today. here is what I have done using version 11 Spindoctor: 1. Identified 14 tracks 2. Add artist name on all 14 at the same time and it works 3. Add album Name to all 14 at the same time and it does not work 4. Add track names to all 14 one at a time and that works 5. put the year into all 14 tracks at 1 time and it does not work 6. put in track numbers for each track and it appears to work 7. Sent to iTunes and it didn't work the 1st track is the size of the entire 14 tracks, track 2 is much to bin and track 3 looks about normal. I stopped itunes at that point but Spindoctor is still OK 8. Clicked on toast and tried to send the tracks to toast but spindoctor was no longer responding so I have to force quit when I sent the 14 items to iTunes track 1 was highlighted could this have anything yo do with the problem. yesterday I had all tracks highlighted and got hugh files for each track. How do you unhighlight a track? so I went back to Spindoctor 10 and tried it again instead of clicking on iTunes I clicked on toast and it opened up Toast 11. I closed 11 down and manually opened Toast 10 and dragged the files over to it. they look good but I don't see a way to get them from Toast into iTunes unless I burn them to a disk. Is there another way? Thanks Dan

    Spin Doctor Problems

At this point I am ready to throw in the towel!! I have been a user of Toast for 6 or 7 years always upgrading to the latest release. The only reason I bought Toast to begin with was to be able to use CD Spindoctor. now I feel like I have been taken. I have both version 10 and 11 installed and Spin doctor doesn't work in either version. I have spent most of my day removing and re-installing both of them, and I am back where I started from. Does anyone know of a replacement product that I can purchase that will take a wave form and allow me to break it down into separate tracks and import it into iTune. That is the only functionality I need. It would be nice to assign track names, album names, and artist names but that can be accomplished in iTunes. thanks Dan

    Spin Doctor Problems

I separated the tracks again and labeled them all then pulled them into a folder on the desktop and from there into iTunes with the same results --all tracks hosed.

    Spin Doctor Problems

I followed your advice and trashed all the com.roxio.hzsystems.CDSpinDoctor.plist files. And tried Spindoctor 10 again (I Have all the latest updates) but that didn't help. What I am doing is streaming music from the internet and using Audio hijack to capture the sound. then opening the file captured and separating the tracks, labeling them and sending them to itunes. I have all the latest updates to Itunes and I am running 10.6.8 on my Mac. When I listen to the tracks in Spindoctor they are fine (just the way they should sound.) When I send them to iTunes and listen to them track 1 is fine but all the rest of the tracks copied are fragments on track #1. I captured 14 tracks. all the tracks in Spindoctor are fine. In iTunes track 1 is fine all the rest of the tracks are fragments of track #1 played over and over. Thanks for the help Dan
