  1. I like DiscCopier9 and frequently start it directly. Can't find that in Roxio Creator 2009. I want a shortcut icon to start up in Disc Copier mode, or a smaller tighter individual program to start just for copying a disk. Are there command line options for doing that? I see if I pass it an .iso file, that starts in Disk Copy mode, how can I do the same thing, but not using an ISO? John

How do I start Disc Copier directly

Yes, that works great in Windows 7. That was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! John Thanks for the suggestion, but that is not what I was looking for. It was the Disc Copy. I appreciate your help though. John
  3. Thanks for the help, I'll probably upgrade to EMC 8. John
  4. I have a 210min MPG (from ReplayTV) that I want to make a DVD from. I understand it won't fit on a 4.7GB disk because it's over 120min. With EMC 7.5 DVD Builder, it still tells me it's over 120 minutes and won't fit, even though I've reduced the quality to low and it shows at the bottom that it will fit on a 8.5GB DL disk. A DL disk is supposed to handle 240 minutes. I am also willing to use DVD shrink to "make" it fit on a 4.7GB disk if I can only get an ISO made by EMC 7.5. I tried using MPEG-VCR to split the file in about 1/2, then made two DL DVD's, but they won't play all the way through and freeze during playback. I also have Adobe Premier 6.5, but it's too complicated for me to understand without taking some time to go through some tutorials. John
  5. Ok, yes, you are correct now that I think about it. The problem I have is that when I split the show with MPEG-VCR, I think the audio lost sync with the video. I don't want to split the file, just make a 210 minute DVD from it. Can I do this? If not with Roxio, is there another DVD Creator program that will? I can't for the life of me, figure out how to split the MPG using a Roxio tool. What am I missing?
