Yes, i try to explain myself better. Since i have installed Windows media player 11, i have always been to play a DVD with this, and also now, after having installed ROXIO Creator 2010. What instead i am not able to play anymore is a video file mpeg2, in other words a file ready to create a DVD. I export these type of files from Adobe Premiere, using a realtime mpeg2 export using my Matrox RTX 100 videocard, or using Ligos encoder. Well, before to install ROXIO 2010, i was able to play these type of files with windows media player, viewing the video in the windows media player window and also on my tv, using directshow provided with my acquire card. Now, playing an mpeg2 file, in the windows of the media player i don't see anything, instead the video is trasmitted properly on my tv. It seems that ROXIO 2010 installation overwrites the mpeg2 codec of the mediaplayer 11, because using for instance another type of player, such Creative mediasource, i watch correctly the video. So the problem is that my windows media player 11 can't play anymore mpeg2 files, instead it's still able to play vob files used in the DVD.
