Toast 11.1 Can't Save Or Save As

This is fixed in Toast 11.1 (1065) posted on auto-updater this afternoon. Remember you may need to turn on show extensions in Finder Preferences to see the extension in the SAVE AS dialog box.

Toast 11.1 Crashes When I Try To Burn An Audio Cd

Can you try updating to the latest version we posted this afternoon, 11.1 build 1065 - it should be available in your auto-update. If the issue is still occurring can you post the crash log as an attachment to your post please? We'll get it fixed up in short order...

    Toast 11 Pro Update Problems.

An updated 11.1 updater has been posted which should resolve the issues, if you're unable to get to the auto-updater you can download the latest version on the software updates page and then upgrade from there. Sorry for the hassle, but we will have a full installer build of this 11.1 version available in the next few days.

    Toast 11.1 Upgrade?

It will definitely work, but you need to make sure you close Toast the first time before you delete it, it's possible the UI closed but the process was still running for some reason when you deleted the file so Toast was re-writing it based on the variables it had loaded into memory.

    Toast 11.1 Upgrade?

Sorry! I pulled the update over the weekend until we could finish testing an updated 11.1 build and as a result of the holiday weekend I wasn't able to do it as cleanly as I hoped. An updated 11.1 is now available on auto-update.

    Toast 11.1 Upgrade?

It sounds like the time and date on your system are wrong since the certificate doesn't show as expired in your screenshot, can you double check your timezone and date/time?
  9. What is the warning? Sonic Solutions is fine, but you shouldn't be seeing a warning...
  10. Most users will need to use Solution 2 listed below until we can fix this on our side... Solution 1 (Works for some users but definitely not all): 1. Quit the Toast.app Setup Assistant 2. Hold the CTRL key down on your keyboard or right-click on the Toast Titanium icon and select open 3. Proceed through the Setup Assistant as normal Solution 2: 1. Quit the Toast.app Setup Assistant 2. In Finder, click the pulldown GO menu and click GO TO FOLDER (or press SHIFT+COMMAND+G) 3. In the Go To Folder window, type (or paste) in: ~/Library/Preferences 4. Locate the "com.roxio.toast.plist" file and delete or move to the Trash 5. Close the window and launch Toast Titanium again 6. Proceed through the Setup Assistant as normal

Can't Even Get Past Setup Assistant

For the moment I think we have what we need to fix this issue but I can't see getting an updater up today or tomorrow given folks availability this weekend. Can't Even Get Past Setup Assistant

Got what I needed from finelld (that man is a trooper putting up with me before I've finished my saturday morning coffee)

Can't Even Get Past Setup Assistant

It was a Star Wars quote to LordVader311. Short term fix: Delete the file com.roxio.Toast.plist in ~/Library/Preferences and then relaunch Toast 11.1

Can't Even Get Past Setup Assistant

Short term fix: Delete the file "com.roxio.Toast.plist" in ~/Library/Preferences I'll come up with something to automate this shortly, still working on programatic fix.... (and find out why it happens)

Can't Even Get Past Setup Assistant

I find your lack of faith disturbing. Since we can't see the problem here (yet), would anyone experiencing this issue subject themselves to a brief phone call with me and possible a webex session? EDIT: Got what I needed thanks to finelld

What version were you upgrading from when the button was greyed out?

Can't Even Get Past Setup Assistant

What version of Toast (if you recall) were you upgrading from? Which OS version?

    Stuck At 99%

Support doesn't have a solution for this, the best advice right now is to use the 11.1 beta version I posted above.

    Stuck At 99%

Toast 11.1 was a major effort, and even though it may look similar it's essentially a completely rewritten version of Toast that was needed to move the product forward and resolve a number of shortcomings. For the geeks among you, all previous versions of Toast are Carbon, whereas 11.1 and higher are in Cocoa. However, I still need to get feedback from users who were having an issue with closing the disc or hanging at 99% before I create a new forum for a larger beta of this.

    Disc Not Read In Player

Sometimes when it's blocked by a firewall or Little Snitch you'll see that behavior.

    Burning On Shared Drive

You need a copy of Toast installed on both computers. Once you "Start Sharing" on your Mac Pro and have Toast running, the drive on your shared machine (Mac Pro) will be visible from any other instance of Toast on your local network, you will see it in the drop-down box at the bottom
  23. patatrox

    Burning On Shared Drive

Recorder sharing in System Preferences is limited to Apple burning, to share in Toast you need to launch Toast on the Mac Pro, go to Preferences, click the Sharing tab and turn on ToastAnywhere. With Toast still running on the Mac Pro, you should now be able burn from the iMac.

Converting To Itunes Only Part Of Movie Converted

And that is what I get for a lack of sleep. Greetings from Russia this week. I'm just going to subtly delete my post.

Converting To Itunes Only Part Of Movie Converted

Is the source file a Windows Media Video (WMV), an ASF, or similar format? If so, this is likely related to having the free version of Flip4Mac installed - Toast doesn't include the ability to handle these formats natively and the Flip4Mac free version lets you playback video - but when you're using it to convert you'll only get a few seconds unless you upgrade to their full version.
