I'm the guy w/the GeForce 4 MX420 that was having all kinds of problems... I contacted Roxio tech support and they gave me steps like disabling my startup programs and services, going to the EMC program via the start menu, etc...and still the program hangs at the "analyzing data" screen.
If you'll read the previous threads I have also defragged, updated DirectX and the drivers and still no luck.
I have a Dell 512 RAM, 80Gig Hard, (with adequate space) 2.4 mhz cpu, a TDK 8X DVD burner and the video card as outlined above.
Question(s): would you think it's the card that's giving me the problems? Would you think a new card with 128 memory would solve this problem?
The benefit of your wisdom will once again be greatly appreciated.
