You can also use QuickTime natively to edit videos. Simply select the video you want to cut out and then hit Command-X. Use the slide bars to select the areas. Then be sure to save the video after you have finished editing.

I am getting the same thing. I ran the 3.02 update and Popcorn launched once. I do not have any Xvid codecs installed (only Quicktime and the windows media player codec).
More ideas? How many other people are having this problem?
