    Missing pictures after final burn

No, I bought MyDVD 9.0 on disc from Roxio via the internet.

    Importing Family DVD movie

Okay, let me start over. I have a "mini" DVD that was burned with a camcorder that I would like to import into VideoWave so that I can edit it . . . cut here . . . paste there, etc., etc.. Then I would like to send to MyDVD to finalize and burn. Is this possible, and if so, how might I go about it?

    Missing pictures after final burn

I have MyDVD 9.0 Studio Premier. I have tried rendering both by software, and hardware, with the same results. The hard drive primary partition has around 40 GB available, with secondary and tertiary partitions at over 1 TB. The machine gets defragged monthly. As mentioned before, my previous, 2-disc project utilized mostly 3-5 MB jpeg's with high-definition video. Only after saving this previous project as ISO files, opening the ISO file and going that route to burn was the project okay. The current project that I am having so much difficulty with utilizes digitally scanned images of slides, again, jpg's, and these files are mostly less than 1 MB in size. I have tried burning out of MyDVD, trying just about any burn setting and combination thereof, but without luck. When I save as an ISO, the result is a little better, but still have gaps and holes, where images or transitions belong, periodically. If no solution, would I be able to attempt moving the files to a newer computer, and seeing if the problem resolves? If so, what would be the easiest way to do this? Thanks.

    Missing pictures after final burn

I apologize for not having been very detailed . . . before doing so, I wanted to see if anyone was willing, or interested in helping. I have the MyDVD 9.0 package. My OS is Windows XP running a P4 at 2.6 with an ATI Radeon AGP HD 2400 graphics upgrade at 256 MB of RAM. The project that I am having troubles with is only 33 minutes in length, with the files being jpg's, which are digitally scanned images of some older Kodachrome slides. I am simply trying to create a MyDVD production using VideoWave, as I have done with many projects before, even some close to 60 minutes in length, even when compiling high resolution jpg's AND HD video from a Canon Powershot SX200 camera. Do you need any additional information at this point? THANK YOU!

    Importing Family DVD movie

When I try to import a DVD family movie into VideoWave, it only plays as long as the DVD remains in the drive. As soon as I eject it, the import movie does no long play in VideoWave. Is this normal?
  6. After spending many, many hours compiling a production through VideoWave, and going through MyDVD to finalize and burn onto a DVD, I have come up with a product that intermittently is missing either a transition, or a picture, totally randomized. I have attempted many different burn settings and routes (through MyDVD, creating an ISO file and trying to burn that way, etc.), but each time, I get similar results. Actually, the project before this one was massive (7 GB), and had to split it into two parts. This project did the same thing, but not as bad as my latest. When I took this two-parter and saved it into an ISO file and burned it, everything turned out okay. I have made many productions over the years without these problems. It is not until recently did this start happening. I have reloaded the program, I have even suspected the DVD's that I was burning onto. Any ideas as to what the problem might be, or what else I might try besides being very disgruntled at Roxio or my computer (about to go out the window), would be extremely appreciated!

    Weird burning issue

I will attempt this suggestion, however, I am not using any new transition than in previous projects. Matter in fact, this project only uses the dissolve transition, as where previous projects utilized many other special effects. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I try out software rendering. Thank you.

    Weird burning issue

I work with MyDVD 9.0 & VideoWave. Since Roxio refuses to help those of us with this version, I need to resort to seeking help from you. I just completed another large project that involves splitting the project in half so that I can get it onto (2) DVD's. After burning the 1st DVD and testing it, I notice that about a minute or so into the production, a couple of pictures missing (just a blank screen), AND a few superimposed black blocks over some other pics and portions of video clips. In total, 4 issues. When in VideoWave and MyDVD preview, I see nothing wrong. When MyDVD burns to the disk, the preview window shows no issues . . . only the final product. To say the least, this is NOT my first large project, and I am not doing anything different than before. This is my first problem. I looked at internal tracks, added layers, and nothing. So, I experimented a little. I opened a new project, and pasted all the pics and video, with no sound, text, or effect layers, and burned it. Everything was fine!!! Only until I added all the tracks, and burned it again, were there issues. I also tried burning onto another new disk, and the problems occur in the same timeframe of the production. Any ideas or suggestions I would highly appreciate, and I thank you in advance. ps. I am running XP on a P4 2.6.
