Creator 2012 Pro Edit And Transfer

SUCCESS AT LAST! The AnyDVD Converter worked fine. I was able to load and convert all the video files at once. So the additional step was not that onerous. I will continue to try and find out why 2012 Pro did not play the files properly. THANKS AGAIN.

Thanks for the immediate response. You are correct as the file did come from my Casio digital camera. I have AnyVideo converter already and will try that. My concern is two-fold: 1) why does 2009 Ultimate handle it properly? and 2) when downloading from the digital camera I may have several mov files to convert. What I have liked about Roxio is that I have been able to download both video and picture files to the same folder and then add them to my video in the same sequence with no additional work. I am questioning the benefit of 2012 Pro now if I have to manually convert my mov files and then add them back to the folder for import into 2012 Pro for editing. Again thanks for the immediate response. I will let you know how this turns out before closing this post. Jax425
  3. On 1/2/2012, I downloaded and installed Creator 2012 Pro. Using Video Wave I imported a video .mov file. The video showed fine but the audio was choppy. The audio did not show the length of the video. It appeared that the audio was speeded up and ended about a third of the way through the video. Note: I opened the same video file in 2009 Ultimate and it played just fine. I have had several sessions with 2012 Support and spent hours following their instructions, which have included uninstalling and re-installing 2012 Pro multiple times, downloading Quicktime Player, and using DivX converter. The file plays fine in Quicktime Player but it still plays choppy in 2012 Pro. Support suggested that I upgrade QT Player to QT Pro so I can save the .mov file as another file type. I have rejected that idea as upgrade TO QT Pro is an additional $30 bucks. Has anyone else experienced this or a similar problem in 2012 Pro? Does anyone have suggestions or solutions? I am not anxious to spend additional $$$ when 2012 Pro is supposed to handle the .mov file. Help! JAX425
