  1. Bottom line: I don't know what has changed in that time. Windows updates, installed Spotify, installed Google Music Beta, none of which should affect the video drivers. I can't go to tools in Video Wave. Video Wave *will* *not* *open*. INsufficient graphics capabilities, etc.?
  2. Well, what does that mean to me? I don't understand why now it doesn't work. I've used VideoWave on this machine tons of times.
  3. Didn't work. Still same error message(attached). The information about the driver that I installed is also attached. What to do?
  4. Well, let me clarify. I'm not a complete newb. I can do screenshots and such. I'm just not all that up on updating drivers and such. BTW, right-clicking on Start didn't do anything. Going to "Run" and typing in dxdiag.exe worked. I'm working on updating the drivers from Dell now. BTW, I'm attaching the screenshot you wanted.
  5. I've done items 5 and 6 on that list. I don't know how to find the right drivers at that URL. However, items 5 and 6 did nothing; same problem, same error message.
  6. It's a Dell desktop, with Intel 82865G Graphics Controller. I'm not sure what I'm doing here. I tried this installer: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=9498&ProdId=1044&lang=eng&OSVersion=Windows%20XP%20Professional*&DownloadType=Drivers but it clearly won't install on my machine. I'm on XP Pro, if that helps. I also have no idea which option is appropriate for me at http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=15697
  7. I took most of the day to uninstall everything I could find of Roxio on my machine. I then installed Creator 2009. I can't copy video, I can't do anything with video in Roxio. I get the same error message. First of all, why would they not support software from 4 years ago? Second, what can I do to fix this problem? I need to edit down some video, there is a time restraint on this stuff.
  8. I just installed EMCC 10 Suite. So, Creator 2009 is newer? Should I reinstall that?
  9. Drivers seem to be updated. See attached.
  10. Intel® 82865G Graphics Controller Don't know how to update the drivers for it.
  11. Yes, CinePlayer is having the same issue.
  12. I'm talking about Videowave 11. I've since this morning completely uninstalled Creator 2009 and installed Creator 10. When I try to used Videowave, I get the same error. I don't remember an issue with CinePlayer. I don't what changed on my computer. The only thing I can think of is I've installed Google Music Manager.
  13. I'm on my desktop XP Pro machine. This worked last week. Does Roxio have this generic error message for everything? "There are insufficient graphics capabilities for the application to run. This can be caused by the following: • Your video card driver may not fully support DirectX 9.0. Check to see if an updated driver is available for your card. • Your video card hardware may not be sufficient for full DirectX 9.0 support. You will need to upgrade your card"

    Roxio Cineplayer Decoder Pack?

Whenever I use Windows Media Player to watch DVDs, listen to CDs, open mpegs, etc., I get this message: "Please wait while Windows configures Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack" If I wait through the "configure", it ends up with this message: "An installation package for the product Roxio CinePlayer Decoder Pack cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'CPDP.msi'." What is this and how do I get it to stop?
