Purchased Ver 9 Days Before 10 Was Released

I'm not sure if there's a cheap upgrade available. I bought Toast 9 on 24th December and when I learned about Toast 10 a couple of days ago, I came here to the support forums. I saw this thread http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=46908 and applied for a refund online (since I had bought it directly from Roxio online). The refund was prompt and I got it today - it was completely hassle free. If you don't see a cheap (or free) upgrade option, then you can request for a refund within 30 days of the purchase (see http://www.roxio.com/enu/support/service/cs_refund.html).

    Toast 10?

As a follow up to my earlier post in this thread (http://forums.support.roxio.com/index.php?showtopic=46908&view=findpost&p=247786), I have to say I'm pleased with the prompt refund of what I paid for Toast 9 on 24th December 2008. I filed the request online and got the refund today. I did worry a bit that it might be a frustrating experience, but I now have more faith in Roxio. Of course, my experience does not negate the need for a better upgrade process and price from Roxio (why did they even send me the 50% off mail for Toast 9 in December when they knew Toast 10 would be released shortly?). If anyone from Roxio is reading this, thanks a lot for the hassle free refund process. But please do read through these threads and make the upgrade experience cheaper and better for end users.

    Toast 10?

I bought Toast 9 on 12/24 and was shocked to see this mail about Toast 10 being released. I'd rather return Toast 9 and buy Toast 10. I've applied for a return through the customer service site and will see how good Roxio support is. I really hope I'd be able to return Toast 9 with no (or minimum) hassles. This will help me buy Toast 10 instead. I hope they work out something for people who bought in the last few months. It'd really mean something for customers to know that they're cared for.
