    No Drive Detected

Uninstall/reinstall went ok.. A few minutes of concern when the uninstall seemed to take a very long time at EMCGadgets, and again after re-install the pc took about 10-15 minutes to shut down before the last reboot. BUT... when I opened Roxio it now sees the blu-ray drive. Thanks to both of you for your help and guidance.

Didn't work either. And yes I did extract then install. I still have the install Disk (still unopened) that came with the pc, and I suppose that's my only option now. Can I reinstall over the original program or do I have to uninstall Roxio first?

    No Drive Detected

I did reboot.. but I didn't save the exe to the desktop first. I saved it to a default "Downoad" directory. I wouldn't think that would me a difference, though, And nope it's no secret... It was on the laptop when I bought it brand new from Best Buy. BTW the instructions say it needs to be unzipped, but what I downloaded was an exe file that self installed.

Tried that... Didn't work. It's Roxio Blu-Ray 10.2 in case that makes any difference. Any other ideas?

    No Drive Detected

My 6 month old Dell XPS M1530 Vista 64 bit pc came with a CD/DVD Blu-Ray R/W drive and Roxio Creator Premier pre-installed. Although Microsoft Explorer recognizes the drive and will write to it, Roxio tells me "no drive detected". What do I have to do to get Roxio to detect the drive?
