    Adding Music To Menus

Well, that explains why I could not get it to work. It seems odd that Toast does not have a feature to add music to the DVD Menus. Every DVD has music playing when the menu is on screen. What program do people use to add music to DVD menus? iDVD, iMovie or? Thanks

    Adding Music To Menus

I am trying to figure out how to have music playing in the background when the menu is on-screen. Then the music would end once you clicked and made your selection on what movie to play. I can not find it in the online help file. Thanks

Best Way To Burn .avi To Dvd?

I usually drag the .avi file to Toast and let it burn. That takes about 6 hours or so for a 1 hour show. Is there a better way? Thanks

Trying To Burn Dvd Of Tv Show Downloaded From Itunes

After spending way too many hours researching this on the internet, I came to the conclusion that this can't be done. So I just downloaded it with bittorrrent, burned that to DVD and problem solved. It is interesting to note that there are almost 2,000 people seeding this one episode and over 3,000 people downloading it. Lesson learned. That is the first and last time I try to be legit and buy a movie or TV through iTunes.
  6. I just downloaded an episode of Lost from iTunes for my wife. I tried to burn it to DVD so she could watch it on TV. Toast won't let me burn the DVD. My wife is not going to watch this on the computer so I need a version on DVD. Any ideas or work arounds? The ironic part is, the last time she asked me to download an episode of Lost I just downloaded it through bittorrent, used Toast to burn it to DVD, no problem at all. This time I tried to be legit and it does not work. Oh, in case it matters I am using Toast 7.1.2 and Mac OS X 10.4.11. I also have QuickTime Pro 7.3.1 Visual Hub 1.31.1 will not convert it Thanks

Trouble burning from Video TS file

tsantee: I have one last question/problem (I hope!?!) When I put the DVD in my computer the main menu shows up and I can navigate to all the different chapters. When I put the DVD in my DVD player, the movie justs start playing. The main menu is not displayed. So my question is: how do I get the menu with chapters to display on my DVD player the way they do on my computer? Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong this time? Thanks

Trouble burning from Video TS file

Wow! What a long strange trip that was. I finally made it to the other side. I now have a DVD that will play on my DVD player. I will never be able to thank you for all your help. There is absolutely no way I ever have been able to figure that out on my own. And it seemed so easy in the beginning

Trouble burning from Video TS file

tsantee: You are exactly correct! It was at 25 fps. Now, the problem I'm having is the file is 140 minutes. The DVDs I am using are Verbatim DVD-R 4.7GB 120 minutes. I am getting an error message that there is not enough room to burn the file. At some point I stumbled across an option to have Toast "auto compress" the file to fit onto 120 minutes, but now I can't find it. Thanks for all your help with this. There is no way I would have figured this out on my own.

Thanks for your help, but Toast preferences are set to NTSC which is correct for USA. Any other ideas? Thanks

Trouble burning from Video TS file

Hello: I followed the instructions in the Toast help file (Clicked the "DVD-Video from VIDEO_TS" button then dragged the "Video TS" folder onto the Toast window.) The DVD will play fine on the computer with all chapters and menus. When I put it in my DVD player I get an error message "incorrect disc". I am using Mac OS X 10.3.9, Toast 7.0.2 and Verbatim DVD-R blanks. Thanks
